To think that sometimes MNHQ should leave an obvious troll post to stand

I would like to have a troll pit where the threads are locked and only visible for say the next 24 hours. That way everyone will know it was a troll and have a chance to read the thread.
It can be disappointing to hear about threads that get referred to but you don’t get to read. Also some people can give genuine advice.

I don't think we should preserve their threads, but I think they should be named and shamed - along with all the other posting names they have used previously.

A troll pit might be a good idea for the ones that get tons of replies each time, just to encourage people to wise up a bit when they inevitably come back and try posting again. Maybe people would be less likely to reply to "hi, I'm a primary teacher, AIBU to stop the kids in my class going to the toilet?" thigh-rubbing fucker if they'd seen it the first nineteen times.

Oh god it has to be. It was so funny. She turned on mums net because no one had responded after 6 minutes. My favourite was the poster who piled in after the dust had settled accusing everyone of being mysoginsitic bullies. I was betting with myself that someone was bound to call her an ignorant cunt by page four. I was surprised and touched that nobody did. 😂
