To ask how anyone keeps their pubes inside their swimwear?

I am NOT a Hairy Mary. In fact, blessed with a very neat Bikini area which I also had lasered to keep it extra tidy. Problem is, pubes that remain always end up sticking out the sides of swimwear. I have no intention of doing the whole pre-pubescent total wax business but just want to know how on earth do other women avoid this problem? I tried trimming with scissors one year and the scratchiness was UNBEARABLE. Ideas?

Pre pubescent? Far from it thanks I'm 39! Just not a fan of pubic hair

IhaveALooBrush · 22/07/2019 14:58

I buy massive bikini bottoms.
I'm lazy.

Ok so then yes the pubic hairs you do still have are long enough to escape so you need to trim them if you don’t want that happening. If you’ve half an inch of bare skin between pube edge and swimsuit then the hairs much be quite long tbh. I trim mine and they’re def no more than 1cm or so long.

zingally I love your idea of buying men's shorts, but do you mean this style or this style ?

Branleuse · 22/07/2019 15:16

thankfully, in this day and age, we have several styles of swimsuit to choose from, ranging from ones that show off half of your foo, and ones that come halfway down your legs.

If you are having issues with pubes sticking out your cossie, you could try a different style of costume, or you could shave your pubes at the sides. Scratchiness only happens if either youve used an old blunt razor which damages the skin, or if you grow it back, and then it itches for a few days until its grown a bit more.

Shave and trim the bush.
When I first started shaving, I used to get that itch for a few days. Then I was told about talc. Now my body is used to being shaved and no more talc required.

I'll join the hedgehog-in-pants team. I very much sympathise. It has occasionally happened after salon waxing too so I think it definitely depends on the individual and some people will never experience it.

However..I JUST bought a Phillips Lumea and I cannot wait to get started.

seriously? Thats what you think when you see boyleg costumes, and youre wondering how on EARTH to keep your super tidy fanny contained in a normal costume.

Hint, wear a costume that covers your pubes, like anyone else. Its not complicated

Branleuse · 23/07/2019 09:59

there isnt a special technique for dressing that keeps pubes contained.

'I bet that model’s lady garden is the size of the amazon’'

Really

How odd

Trim with DH's beard clipper and wear bigger bikini pants!
