..to think that people who witter endlessly about killing threads are attention-seeking?

Hunker

It's not a talent, it's not something to be ashamed of or upset about.

It's not done on purpose.

People often don't even look at chatnames, let alone follow others round the board going "ooh, I won't post after HER, I would FAR prefer her to have killed this thread, that'd serve her right"

OK?

Hunker

lol

although, I have been known as a successful threadkiller...I have you know

that also should be tucked up in bed, tbh...

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2007 23:18

In fact, I might make a list of people who bang on about it and specifically post after them with:

"No, you fucking haven't killed the thread, stop being so dull"

I don't think that's what the posters meant. Maybe I'm reading it wrong but I took it to mean that because they were not known as a regular, folk didn't respond to their message,

frascati · 27/07/2007 23:21

Why does it bother you so much though???

Carmenere · 27/07/2007 23:21

lol, oh leave them alone, if the only way they can relate to each other is identifying with each other as losers what harm

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2007 23:22

Frascati, we are ignoring each other, remember?

I read it as - fuck, have just wedged bit of dime bar into my gum. Am now really fucked off and will be even less civil to anybody who questions me on this subject. OK.

I keep wanting to post rude things and end my posts

hunker

I keep thinking it'd be funny.

But then it is half eleven and I've been on the WD40......

But I'm tempted.

How come you're VVVQV again? I thought you were NotHereetc

frascati · 27/07/2007 23:25

oh yes of course just read that you are someone different

yama · 27/07/2007 23:28

Was hunker your previous name vvv?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2007 23:30

Nope. Hunker is logged in under my username.

We can both post at the same time it seems

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2007 23:32

When I post, I dont have to put my name at the bottom of the post though

Hence some posts say hunker, and some dont.

OP posts:
MyTwopenceworth · 27/07/2007 23:33

So hunker could lock you out of your own username by changing the password on you?

That would be funny.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2007 23:34

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, MTPW, that hasn't occurred to me [naive]

PMSL!

She could, but it would only be temporary because MNHQ know my IP address and email. They would therefore email me the password, and the I could change it, and ban hunker again

OP posts:
VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2007 23:38

Oh fuck.

[didn't think that through]

Er.

Of course I wouldn't do that.

I might change her to VickiSmellsOfCheeseYesKnobCheese though.

oh I don't care if i kill threads it means i had the final say

handlemecarefully · 27/07/2007 23:42

I don't think they are attention seeking, I think they are seeking reassurance and may be mildly insecure. Outrageous really

MMMMMMM. I want to see who you think is hunky.....

madamez · 27/07/2007 23:43

Yup. Getting the last word is always satisfactory. Especially when you don't even have to finish the post with "Neeer, twatface" or equivalent.

Bubble99 · 27/07/2007 23:45

Spooky.

They've never been seen at the same time, y'know....

No....Er...? I'm maybe thinking of two of The Jacksons?

Aitch · 27/07/2007 23:46

neer twatface

3andnomore · 27/07/2007 23:52

gallagher person??????????

Pan · 27/07/2007 23:52

threads are never killed..they just die a natural death..or are 'complete'...

VeniVidiVickiQV · 27/07/2007 23:54

If it comforts you pan
