AIBU?

..to think that people who witter endlessly about killing threads are attention-seeking?

Hunker

It's not a talent, it's not something to be ashamed of or upset about.

It's not done on purpose.

People often don't even look at chatnames, let alone follow others round the board going "ooh, I won't post after HER, I would FAR prefer her to have killed this thread, that'd serve her right"

OK?

Hunker

"i think people who start threads about traditions - which have no meaning and which flood the board and the only use is so there can be a vvq/Hunker msn esq thread thing going on.....is attention seeking"

a little different from

"Oh, fuck off, Custy.

Who rattled your cunt?

[in a language she'll understand]

HM"

a personal attack i felt, on me ( 1st line)
on my rattled cunt (second line)
and the inference that i am the sort of person who can only understand such crude vernacular - as an excuse to use it.

The "crosses to carry" reference was meant only to point out that other posters can be having a rubbish time too and that it shouldn't be an excuse.

It didn't mean that i don't care less that your having a bad time of it at the moment. I sincerely hope that you come through your troubles a happier person.

i think to boil this down to being 'rude' underestimates your response and there is an assumption that both your response and mine are of the same level.

I doubt Hatrick whether i called you personally a tosser. If you can point out the context (and this proves to be so) i would gladly apologise. i have no problems with apologising when i am wrong.

I cannot argue that i am not rude on occasion. To boil it down to simple rudeness is an injustice to the Enlish language alone. but i never attack people on such a level.

not my style.

I wasn't drunk either.

fawkeoff · 28/07/2007 14:18

And why is Hunker pretending to be VVVQ? Or is she?

Reminds me why I left, shouldn't have come fecking back. Sorry Custy, you don't deserve this shit. You organise the Xmas do every year, you give out great advice, you care about people on here and have gone out of your way to help, yet people can't seem to cope with that so they go out of their way to be spiteful and horrible. I suppose it is just like rl only on here they all hide between assumed names.

NorthernMusgrave · 28/07/2007 14:21

Saying you are going through shit in rl doesn't excuse you, Custy wasn't rude when she went through shit. It's called respect, but I doubt some people can even spell that.

Bye again.

Report

No. Hunker, you may be going through a shit time but you were very rude to Custy when she was not to you. And saying that she may or may not have called you a wanker hatrick is not helpful either. There is absolutely no need for personal attacks and I don't think you should get away with it, no matter what your excuse.

sorry...but hatrick never did call anyone a name, she just mentioned that on another thread she was called names by certain people...not just her tbh....so, surely that is not namecalling.
To be honest, read this thread with amazement...I don't really know the custardo-Hunker history...but had not expected the thread to turn this nasty....I thought it was a pistake of another thread that says somehting about ones uncanny ability to kill threads....
Still really baffled why there was such an exchange of nastyness, to be honest....but probably muhc better not to know why anyway

Leati, lol at your desperate attemtps of diverting the attention....you don't like arguments much at all, do you...some days MN really is not for the fainthearted....and I think the last few days have been a bit so and so....wonder if there is a full moon or somehting coming on...
