I’m going to end up fat and broke. It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted. I swear I don’t work for them.

I'm listening .........
👂 😋 😋🙂

ILoveEurovision · 04/06/2019 22:11

I loved the dark chocolate salty one (it's vegan too) but have given up sugar last week because I'm too fat so no more for me. DH is happily scoffing it.

I hadn't realised how much slavery was involved in chocolate production either.

Stupid name though.

SpreadHummusNotHate · 04/06/2019 22:13

It’s the best chocolate! I’d had it in the Netherlands a few years ago - bad for my waistline when Sainsbury’s started stocking it 😂

foreverhanging · 04/06/2019 22:19

Just came back from Holland where I had the most glorious bar of it and saw it in sainsburys but damn it!! I am trying to eat healthy!

plunkplunkfizz · 04/06/2019 22:22

Same! I LOVE it.

MrsRolly · 04/06/2019 22:31

It's the best. I avoid sainsburys now as I have zero self control 😂😂

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 04/06/2019 22:32

Pretzel flavour. Mmmmmmmmm

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 04/06/2019 22:32

And yes the name is dumb.

SmallPinkBear · 04/06/2019 22:34

Oh god I bloody love it. The cafe in my work building sells it, I didn’t realise how expensive it was at first but now I have eaten it I can’t go back to crappy cadbury’s

Tolleshunt · 04/06/2019 22:35

I saw it in Whole Foods the other day, and wondered if it was a bit worthy in flavour. I'm going to try it now.

Elledouble · 04/06/2019 22:43

Oh my god yes. The milk chocolate caramel and sea salt one.

My one complaint is that it’s not split into squares and it ends up splintering into pieces when I stuff it into my fat face break it Blush

Anothertempusername · 04/06/2019 22:44

Yes!! The nougat one has replaced toblerone in my affections!!

MustardScreams · 04/06/2019 22:47

I only discovered it because Sainsbury’s subbed it for something else. That was a very, very good day!

It makes the most insanely good hot chocolate, I grate it into hot milk and I’m pretty sure it can cure all ills.

littlepooch · 04/06/2019 22:48

Ooh I saw this in Sainsbury's and laughed at the packaging and name. It appears I was too hasty. I will remedy this tomorrow when I'm out with the baby buying yet more nappies and milk!

CanYouHearThePeopleSing · 04/06/2019 22:48

I used to work in Amsterdam once a month and would always bring some back with me - I was over the moon when I heard it was available over here. Thankfully it's too pricey to be a regular purchase!

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 04/06/2019 22:48

I love the not-toblerone one too. And the salty toffee one.

TeachesOfPeaches · 04/06/2019 22:51

Ooh I had some of this recently. I only picked it because of the packaging and because it was on offer. Divine !

fairylightseverywhere · 04/06/2019 22:51

The sea salted caramel is literally the most delicious chocolate I've ever eaten. I wasn't one for Cadburys or much other chocolate anyway because of how oily and flavourless it is now, but when you eat Tony's you realise how vast a difference in taste there is!

Shamefully I'd never even realised how much slavery is involved in chocolate production. I won't buy any other brand for myself now, but because it's relatively expensive I don't buy it too often and I'm happy with that. I'd prefer to have one amazing chocolate bar every few weeks than a mediocre one every week.

hippoherostandinghere · 04/06/2019 22:55

What is this goodness you talk of? And why hasn't it reached the distant shores of NI? Picture anyone?

Witsendagain · 04/06/2019 23:01

Wankel/ petes knees/ #notamainstreamveg?
(if you are not in the know please ignore)

KickBishopBrennanUpTheArse · 04/06/2019 23:05

OMG yes. I was in Holland last week and went on a food tour in Amsterdam. They took us to the shop. I'd never heard of it before but I just polished off a bar of salted caramel tonight. It's delicious. I didn't know it was available here. That is seriously bad news for my bank balance and waistline. I also agree 're the slavery.

We were asked to take part in filming an advert while we were in the shop so I feel like I'm part of the company now Grin

CuppaTeaAndAJammieDodger · 04/06/2019 23:08

Good chocolate you say? I was just saying to DH that I have completely gone off chocolate, I even tried that abomination of milk/dark chocolate that Cadbury brought out the week 🤢

Where sells it?

lisasimpsonssaxophone · 04/06/2019 23:10

I just bought this for the first time the other day. It was quite alarming to think that other chocolate isn’t slavery free!

Teaandkittens · 04/06/2019 23:11

@Witsendagain RADISH

glueandstick · 04/06/2019 23:12

Waitrose do it too.

I’m a lover of the bog standard milk. It’s amazing.
