I’m going to end up fat and broke. It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted. I swear I don’t work for them.

Oooh will have to look for some next time I’m in Sainsbury’s

fairylightseverywhere · 04/06/2019 23:23

Sainsburys sell it, Waitrose sometimes depending on which branch. Centre Parcs too, and I found it randomly in an independent shop in Bath a while ago. Lots of online indies too like Babipur who are an amazing ethical family run company with just the best customer service and a love of radishes Smile

Here is one of the videos that Tony's made about chocolate slavery. It's really shocking and very sad

Itsnotmesothere · 04/06/2019 23:26

I bought it on offer at Sainsbo was still hideously expensive. I bought the plain milk kind; it had a similar taste to Aldi's Choceur. I do want to try the other flavours though (When on offer)

Witsendagain · 04/06/2019 23:54

@teaandkittens nod nod wink wink!
I'm glad someone knew what I was on about! 😂

Lovewineandchocs · 04/06/2019 23:59

hippoherostandinghere it is here! Grin Look in the confectionery aisle of any Sainsbury’s, I buy it Sainsbury’s in Belfast, I’m sure all Sainsbury’s in NI must stock it though.

Comefromaway · 05/06/2019 00:02

Dd went on a school trip to Holland. Her host family introduced her to it. She introduced me to it.

We saw it in Selfridges on a girls day out. I shall have to try Sainsbury’s.

Comefromaway · 05/06/2019 00:04

The honey one is fantastic. Like Toblerone but far nicer.

Unfinishedkitchen · 05/06/2019 06:50

Ocado does it as well as some branches of Spar. My favourite is also the salted caramel one.

tinysnickersaremyfavourite · 05/06/2019 06:58

I've been eating it for a while ordered in bulk from Holland in group orders before anywhere uk started stocking it.
Does anyone know if sainsburys stocks the pretzel one? Waitrose near me only has milk, dark, and seasalt caramel flavour.

WrongKindOfFace · 05/06/2019 07:09

May I also introduce Johnny Doodle chocolate. I don’t think it’s availabe in the U.K. yet, but worth grabbing a couple of bars if you’re in the Netherlands. www.johnnysshop.nl/index.php/johnny-s-chocolate.html

StrongleBerry · 05/06/2019 07:11

I saw the pretzel one in Sainsbury's last week.

glueandstick · 05/06/2019 09:01

@witsendagain

Because radishes aren’t proper vegetables ;) and no one likes radishes. I believe I also understand you.

weebarra · 05/06/2019 09:06

There is a shop near my work selling it. I bought my brother a bar for his birthday but accidentally ate it. Sea salt caramel.

ThomasHardyPerennial · 05/06/2019 09:13

I bloody love the pretzel bar! The bars are so hard to break up though. Ocado stock 7 varieties!

Stravapalava · 05/06/2019 09:14

I bought some from Sainsburys a couple of months ago and it was so nice, I've not dared buy it again!!

historysock · 05/06/2019 09:15

Saw this in M and S garage yesterday...will obvs now have to do taste test...

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 09:51

They sell it for £££ one selfridges. My DH bought me some because I was feeling a bit blue (bless him).

redconeyellowcone · 05/06/2019 18:06

Went and bought the caramel sea salt one after reading you all rave about them. Was hoping not to like it seeing as I eat about 3 bars of chocolate a week but it was lovelyGrin.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 18:09

I don’t like the daft shape. It means that you must eat the whole thing because it’s never a nice neat shape to rewrap. Do they do a white one? Hmmmm

Luckystar1 · 05/06/2019 18:11

Hello to the fellow BPs! I haven’t tasted this yet, must give it a whirl.

ElizaPancakes · 05/06/2019 18:15

Funny, I’d never even heard of it then took a pic in a shop yesterday! Didn’t buy it, it’s was just to show a friend. Whose name is....go on, guess Grin

I might be the only one but I didn't think it was that great. It was ok though!

Ringsender2 · 05/06/2019 18:30

I had no idea about chocolate plantation slavery. Bloody hell. What about fairtrade - is that not exploitation free, or does it only imply fair price to the farmer?

AveAtqueVale · 05/06/2019 18:37

Waving to the radish people. But I don't think I like Tony's Blush.

thaegumathteth · 05/06/2019 18:44

Yes! I love it. Like the flavours, like the ethos and like the wrapping - reminds me of a wonka bar!
