I’m going to end up fat and broke. It’s the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted. I swear I don’t work for them.

It’s £3.50 a bar in Ocado. How much is it elsewhere?

josette · 05/06/2019 18:55

I was in Sainsburys today (Sutton Coldfield)... I looked for this new exciting brand that I have never heard of but now really want to try .
Nothing... did anyone get theirs from a Midlands/ Brummie branch?

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 18:57

I have a plan for great chocolate - with toffee pieces in it. Mmmmmmmmm.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 18:58

Do many places sell the small bars? Selfridges do (about £2.50 I think).

Hoppinggreen · 05/06/2019 19:00

Got some in Sainsbury’s- salted caramel
Absolutely delish and is anti slavery

mizu · 05/06/2019 19:09

Grin I LOVE it too. Bought when on offer in Sainsburys a couple of months ago and am addicted. Really yummy, especially love the dark chocolate one.

Trying to cut down on chocolate - a bit - and I don't seem to scoff this quite as quickly as anything else.

Like a pp said though, annoying that it's not in squares.

Is it Dutch then? Going to watch the video and then show to DD1 who also loves it (nothing is my own anymore)

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 19:10

Dows rum and raisin still exist? I seem to remember this from childhood (not that I liked it but still...)

sittingonacornflake · 05/06/2019 19:12

@Witsendagain hiiiiiiii!!! I'm in your club Grin

VanGoghsDog · 05/06/2019 19:15

Had some in my Christmas stocking....been trying to forget about it since.....Sainsbury you say....?

nanbread · 05/06/2019 19:16

Dark choc seasalt and almond is sooooo good. As is the packaging. And ethics. Love it all round.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 19:19

Its my new favourite. Amelia Rope was my favourite (oh god their lemon and their sea salt...).

HumpHumpWhale · 05/06/2019 19:20

They do a white one with freeze dried raspberry bits in, it's AMAZING.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 19:21

NOOOOOOO????? Where? Gimme gimme gimme

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 05/06/2019 19:21

I work a Saturday morning in Waitrose and have seen this and not brought it as wasn’t convinced. I’m going to have to substitute my Saturday lemon yum yum for a bar of the pretzel or salted caramel one.
I hadn’t realised it was Dutch. Or that it was slavery free. If it’s nice and can cut down my dairy milk creations addiction I’m all for it.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 19:29

It’s for a good cause. And very yummy. Even the dark one is nice and I don’t even like dark chocolate. I have tried them all (that I have been able to find). And the name is still stupid (as I told the sample handed-outer the other week).

thewayoftheplatypus · 05/06/2019 19:35

I wish I hadn’t opened this thread! I always scoff bars of the stuff on our annual trip to Holland- now I know that it’s stocked in sainsburys, my already expanded waistline is only going to get bigger!!

BluebellCockleshell123 · 05/06/2019 19:38

Just realised that this is the chocolate the DH brought home from his work trip!!!

Never had it before and thought it would be some minnging foreign stuff. How wrong I was. The green almond one is delicious.

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 05/06/2019 19:40

I can’t quite decide:

You bastard! Or You beauty!

AlwaysDancing1234 · 05/06/2019 19:40

DH bought home a bar the other day and OMFG it’s goooood!

MagicKingdomDizzy · 05/06/2019 19:52

ILikeyourHairyHands · 05/06/2019 19:55

Ohh, I saw this in Waitrose the other week, it was on the tills and I was tempted, will pick some up tomorrow and report back.

birdandroses · 05/06/2019 19:57

Works out £1.94 for 100g which I don’t think is extortionate - 100g of Cadbury’s dairy milk (yuck) can be £1.&0.

birdandroses · 05/06/2019 19:57
  • typo above, Cadbury is £1.50
chocolateworshipper · 05/06/2019 20:04

Absolutely love it
