LadyVox · 29/05/2019 13:32

Link please OP! I’m on the prowl for a new hoover!

boobirdblue · 29/05/2019 13:46

I hear you and I agree with you. 🦈 hoover

chuttypicks · 29/05/2019 13:50

Vacuum a patch of carpet with your old vacuum, then go back over it with the shark and just see how much the shark picks up! It's amazing!!

4cheekymonkey · 29/05/2019 13:51

Shark lift away!! Even one of my kids said after watching the hoover fill up- "this is so satifying" Grin

I have 2 dysons. 1 cordless and one old corded! They will be going in the bin!

OP posts:
ichifanny · 29/05/2019 13:55

Did you get cordless OP ? I like the look of the lift away but have plenty of plugs not sure it’s worth an extra £150

HoneyBee03 · 29/05/2019 13:57

Yes! My Shark Hoover is absolutely wonderful. I had to empty it three times on the first use despite hoovering with my old hoover only two days before. It picks up everything! And I love how easy it is to clean the brushes and empty.

Firecarrier · 29/05/2019 13:59

I have the lift away. It is excellent It never ceases to amaze me the dust it pulls out. I've had it about 3 years and it is only item I would actually recommend.

4cheekymonkey · 29/05/2019 13:59

I haven't done enough research on the cordless but after how short battery life my Dyson cordless has, I went straight for corded one. Also not sure on the suction power on the cordless vs corded

I was going to get one of these - then my DH went and fixed the old dyson Sad

Springisallaround · 29/05/2019 14:01

Why is it so good? Now I want one...

Smolo · 29/05/2019 14:02

I love my Shark lift away (with the pet tool too) I've had Dysons since they first came out but will not go back to me now.

Smolo · 29/05/2019 14:02

*back to ONE

thefirstmrsdewinter · 29/05/2019 14:03

Ooh, watching thread with interest.

My dh had a Dyson and although I expected it to provide a peak hoover experience not only did I find it fiddly to empty, I always seemed to scratch, pinch or bruise myself on the attachments. Couldn't wait to get rid.

I quite like our Henry though I find it awkward to get the suction right when switching from hard flooring to rugs. Dh bought and uses a Neato robovac but I think it's useless.

Charley50 · 29/05/2019 14:04

Well sorry to say that I thought you were going to say..'after extremely elderly, completely dependent, surviving but not living, relative, passes away.' Blush Shows where my head's at too!

Zoobedoo · 29/05/2019 14:08

I have 2 dysons. 1 cordless and one old corded! They will be going in the bin!

Why? Confused

WifOfBif · 29/05/2019 14:09

I completely understand how you’re feeling.

I love my Shark. I wouldn’t have anything else.

pepperpot99 · 29/05/2019 14:11

I like a bit of vacuum porn Grin. I currently have some kind of cordless thingie in the garage my DB gave me, plus two Mieles, one for upstairs one for down. My best ever present to myself was a parquet floor vacuum attachment which means I can glide my miele across my wooden floors and watch the dust being sucked up with no scratching. Honestly it is like being in heaven Grin.

4cheekymonkey · 29/05/2019 14:16

Zoobedoo because they are absolutely rubbish compare to the shark!

Mookie81 · 29/05/2019 14:21

4cheekymonkey I think they mean why throw them instead of giving them away?
They could still be useful to someone.
