Just wanting to see if anyone has any scary ghost stories to share or any scary situation stories.

Had my DN stay last week she is 3 almost 4 she was sat talking away to herself i said who are you talking to she said the lady that lives upstairs she's very nice and has asked what i am having to eat for my lunch. Every hair on my body stood on end.

Me an DH and my DSS have always said our house has a strange feeling especially in the one room. After talking to out NDN a few years back he said the elderly couple that lived here before both died in the back bedroom that is the room that makes you feel like you are being watched.

We've had a few strange things happen but never anything terrifying or anything bad. We've had the spare bedroom light repeatedly turn on throughout the night before only on one occasion, my DSS's and friend can charging downstairs a few years back hysterical saying their body spray just started spraying by itself whilst it was on the shelf and no one was near it. They wouldn't sleep upstairs for a week after.

At least my DN said she's a very nice lady if she said she was nasty i think I'd of left home

When my DD was 3 I was bathing her when she decided to tell me she liked me better than her other mummy. I asked what she meant... she told me that she used to be another little girl and didn't have shoes and her mummy always cried and spoke in whispers to adults about a bad thing that was coming for everyone and her mummy was always scared. One day she remembered feeling very unwell with a horrible pain in her tummy and her mum gave her and her brother some medicine to make her better then she fell asleep for a long time and when she woke up she was the person she is now with me as a mummy.

We lived in a house where the former tenant had hanged himself from the loft hatch, opened it up and pitched off. That damn hatch would never stay closed for long and it was always icy cold when you passed under it if it was open.

I also lived in a haunted flat that I had to get ghost hunters out to and it was truly terrifying but its a rather long story, will try to remember to come back and tell.

The other night I thought I heard dd come out of her room and start playing on the landing so I shouted up but she didn't say anything. I went up expecting her to be in my room but she was fast asleep in her bed 😱 then the other morning I was in the bathroom and heard what thought was dd thundering up the stairs and go into her room, I was sitting expecting her to fly into the bathroom like she normally does, I came out and she wasn't there so I thought she was hiding in one of the bedrooms, I shouted her name but she called up from down stairs where I left her. I heard those foot steps clear as day it was just like her.
I've lived in this house for almost 4 years and nothings has ever happened like this so god knows what it was but I know what I heard.

Also years ago I saw a ghost walk into a lift, well he walked out of one and into the other. I thought it was a person at first but the lift didn't move and when I looked inside via the small window on the door no one was in there. The door had opened and everything but he just vanished once he was inside

I posted this on another woo thread a couple of weeks ago.

My bunch of car and house keys disappeared into thin air a couple of weeks ago - I'd used them and let myself into the house and popped them in my bag but when I went to look for them a couple of hours later they had disappeared. Had to use the spares.

Turned the house upside down looking for them - searched every nook, cranny, shelf, behind furniture etc. One week later I walked into the laundry with my third pile of washing of the day and there they were clear as day lying in full view on top of the washing machine. No-one else in the house that day. I'd searched the laundry multiple times previously and had used the washing machine every day. Still completely baffled how they got there.

I have a few!

In a particular spot in my living room there is sometimes an overwhelmingly strong smell of cigarette smoke, it’s so strong it makes your nose/throat burn a little.
No one has ever smoked in my house.

My DH swears has seen an old man sat on the sofa before.

He also swears he saw a glass move on the table once and when he asked for the glass to be moved again if anyone was present it was, he asked twice and it moved both times.

A few weeks ago my youngest in bed dropped something, the bang was pretty loud and when I approached the stairs to check on him I heard clear as day a deep mans voice go ‘Shhh’

I sometimes feel that someone is behind me, almost always on the stairs or the upstairs bathroom.
Occasionally the dog will stand rigid and stare, sometimes doing an under breath growl up the stairs and the cat almost always sleeps in the upstairs bathroom.
Some people believe that cats drive away negative spirit and that animals can see spirit.

My son is adamant that my dad visited and spoke to him shortly after he died.

My son also claimed to have seen a bearded man in the spare bedroom at my mums house.
I didn’t know until I told my mum that when sleeping in the spare room I could have sworn I saw a bearded man and she then commented that my son had said the very same thing!

I was watching tv downstairs and suddenly she started screaming-she swears blind she saw a giant pair of hands come out of the wall towards her-she’d woken up for a wee when it happened
She was in her bedroom a few weeks later when she looked up to see an old man minus his feet wearing a grey cardigan-I got her to tell me what he looked like-she got my granddad to the very last detail-including his silver hair-he was never grey-he was silver-and had endless problems with his feet-she had never seen a photo of him
A very dear friend of mine appeared in my kitchen-I was ready to go to her funeral-I was just waiting on a lift
When I was pregnant with my son I lost his twin
When he was born and next to us in the lounge we’d hear a newborn crying upstairs clear as anything-we think it was his twin
I see orbs all the time
When I was pregnant I heard a voice in my ear saying ‘it’s a girl’ I had a daughter
We used to have a large cupboard in our lounge where we kept toys-I once saw my great grandmothers face-and her arm swept a pile of toys all over the floor
I was stood at my front door-and saw my grandads old dog walk past
Someone touches my hair when things are tough-and it always turns out ok
My grandads favourite bird was a robin-if I ask him to show me he’s still around me within a few hours a robin will appear
I went through hell a few years ago and just happened to be stood in Asda went to go get a bottle of Diet Coke (when they had names on them) and the bottle I picked at random was my great grandmothers name-not a common name-and I’d asked out loud for her to help me an hour earlier

Oh and when I gave birth to no2 I was laid on the bed in agony-and all of a sudden I wasn’t on the bed-but floating above myself watching myself give birth
I could see the tops of everyone’s head-I could feel my bum touching the ceiling and a gold/white light coming from me but no pain
All of a sudden I felt a thud and I was back in my body-and about to push-turns out I’d been in labour just over 2 hours-it felt like seconds
Also years later I’d done the deed with my fella-and we where just chilling and sleepy when a golden light seemed to just coat us-5 weeks later I found I was pregnant with my son-a high risk pregnancy that could have killed us both
My youngest used to wake up in the early hours-and I’d hear her laughing at nothing-she was a hard to make her laugh sort of child who normally woke up and howled

Mawof3soontobe i have watched a documentary before on children who talk of a previous life and they knew details of their deaths places they lived described everything in detail. The one girl said she lived in a town in America and died in a fire at a certain building (i think it was a newspaper printing building) she remembered her previous name and age and the investigator went to this town found information on the fire which was 1920's and sure enough the name she said was her previous name was on the list of people killed in the fire and her age. She is 4 in the documentary but said she's 7 really (the age of the girl that died in the fire)

My little boy 4 talks about the men upstairs, there are 2 apparently.
One as far as I can tell is dressed like a jester with bells on his hat and the other is a bald man. I asked if the heater one is a clown and he got a bit panicked and said "no he's definitely not a clown, he hates that" I asked when he sees them and he said they only come if mummy and daddy are sleeping. I asked if the bald one says anything and he laughed and said "no he doesn't talk he doesn't have a mouth" 😱😱

There was also a boy on the documentary who cried and got upset when he was addressed by his name saying it's not his name his name is so so he started this at a young age which was shown on home videos and as he got a bit older he kept saying he wants to go back to before he doesn't like this life. He said he died on a boat and also knew where he used to live after investing they found the name he said he was called and he died on a small ship in 1940's.

I was going through a really tough time as a teenager - huge family rifts and bullying, it was all pretty awful. A lot of weird, unexplained things happened to me during this time - I'd have dreams about things that would then happen. One dream was about my neighbours little orange car being in a ditch and on fire. A week later their car crashed into a ditch (no one was hurt luckily). I'd stay with my aunt and cousins a lot during this time, one day we were at my cousins chatting away on the sofa when a DVD case flew across the room from the TV and smashed against the wall. No one was anywhere near the TV and no one could have reached the DVD case to throw it. A few other odd things happened during that time but it stopped after the divorce. I don't believe in ghosts at all, but do think there is something in the idea that hormonal teenage girls in distress can cause odd things to happen. Can't explain it, don't want to think of myself as a woo person but I had such an upsetting time and it all happened during that time and then stopped. Can't say anything like that has ever happened since.
I've had some really fascinating readings from mediums also, but again I'm not woo, don't believe they are talking to spirits and I'm just fascinated with how accurate they were.

My DD is 5 and comes out with weird stuff. She told me didn't used to be a little girl, she was an old woman with a different name. She always used to talk about her " old family" and says we're her " new family".

My little boy used to talk about his "other mum" she was black and sung to him and they had brothers and all lived in one room. He told me not to worry because he couldn't go back there now, because it would never work and he's stuck here 😳xx
