How many pizza slices?

KimchiLaLa · 24/05/2019 20:53

DH finishes a whole dominos medium pizza if we order a takeaway. I have 2-3 slices of one (we usually do buy one get one free). Then we both share the rest for lunch the next day. How many do you have on average?

How is it self destructive to eat a pizza and some cookies occasionally? Christ, who do some people think they are?

I actually don't know anyone who would only eat 2-3 slices. At uni we used to get dominoes delivered for conferences and some people would go for the whole pizza, these were mostly slim girls! If you for 2-3 slices you were really unlucky haha! Maybe because we are younger? But all my friends would eat at least half.

Thelineisadottoyou · 25/05/2019 23:09

This thread is bizarre. The judgement of people because of how much pizza another person can eat? Are you genuinely feeling superior @amibeingdaft81 because you eat less?
I have eaten a pizza to myself, plus 2 cookies and god forbid wedges too and it was delicious.
Another time I had a couple of slices and was done.
Dominos is delicious and as long as you’re content after it who cares?

Gillian1980 · 26/05/2019 00:26

We usually get 2 large pizzas between me and DH. Half (so one large pizza) for dinner that evening between us and the other half (one large pizza) the next day for lunch between us.

Yubaba · 26/05/2019 00:32

My 10 year old ds can eat an entire medium dominos on his own Shock and he is stick thin, he does a lot of sport though.
Dh and I normally share a large between us, so half each.

SecretLimonadeDrinker · 26/05/2019 00:35

I snaffled a medium pizza by myself tonight, I'm breastfeeding and we had been on a long walk!

Tunnocks34 · 26/05/2019 01:38

2/3 and a handful of chips. If I’m really hungry then 4. Never in a million years could I finish a whole pizza, even a frozen pizza would be too much really.

Dieu · 26/05/2019 09:29

Definitely a whole one.

Skyejuly · 26/05/2019 09:30

I eat whole medium.

BlueMerchant · 26/05/2019 09:32

The domino medium I surely for one.
I once bought a 'personal'. It was the size of a saucerGrin. One mouthful.

ehohtinkywinky · 26/05/2019 09:39

I wish I knew how to make my stomach the size of those saying they can't handle more than 2-3 slices. I can eat a large. Medium no problem.

ehohtinkywinky · 26/05/2019 09:40

I mean, obviously we have a salad with it but even then, we feel super greedy.

Obliviously Hmm

KimchiLaLa · 26/05/2019 13:16

We finished both mediums between us as of yesterday.

I do think I could eat a whole medium however, on my own, but I limit myself but this thread has made me see there's no point to that. I'd rather just eat the amount I want and eat a balanced meal the next day.

Moominfan · 26/05/2019 13:21

I'd easy eat half a large one plus sides, probably could go for the whole thing if I pace myself but I like to save some for breakfast

BendydickCuminsnatch · 26/05/2019 13:25

Whole or almost whole, but it has to be super thin crust and I usually only eat the toppings off a lot of the slices as I can’t deal with that much bread. But the toppings are so delish! 😄

KimchiLaLa · 26/05/2019 14:38

Is there something different about Dominos? I eat pizza from supermarket/ pizza takeaway / Italian restaurants and would always order thin crust. Are Dominos more stodgy than ones from other places? I've never ordered from there

For me their base to sauce to cheese ratio is perfect, and the sauce has a lot of flavour

DH prefers farmhouse, I think their cheese is too heavy and plastic-y

I also like Pizza Hut but they aren't close enough to deliver to us.

Dominoes garlic bread is also amazing, I could actually order a few of those alone and forgo the pizza at times!

hellooosweetheart · 26/05/2019 14:50

It's been years since I have had a dominos pizza. Quite a few slices probably

Frankola · 26/05/2019 16:54

I could do a whole pizza easy Confused

I tend to save a couple of slices for the day after though as it's really good the next day Star

Mummyshark2019 · 26/05/2019 20:18

12

Polarbearflavour · 26/05/2019 20:33

3 or 4 slices and most of the chicken kickers dunked in garlic sauce.

I can eat a whole Pizza Express Padana though courtesy of Deliveroo.

icecreamsundae32 · 27/05/2019 17:34

After reading this yesterday I fancied a dominoes....just to test myself of course Wink

I have had 3 large slices of pepperoni, half a side of wedges, two small slices of garlic bread and 1 cookie - I am genuinely stuffed and can't eat anymore! And I was hungry as I had lunch at 12. I am a size 8/10 and thought I had a fairly large appetite, obviously not compared to a lot of people.

My husband is 6 foot 3, he ate 7 slices plus 1 slice of garlic bread and 1 cookie.
ds age 10 ate 3 slices, no sides and 1 cookie.
ds age 8 ate 2 slices, 1 slice of garlic bread, some wedges and 1 cookie.
We still have 6 slices of pizza left from 2 larges - that will do me and the boys for lunch tomo!

redspider1 · 27/05/2019 21:20

Cookies? When did pizzas start coming with biscuits?

morallybankruptme · 04/06/2019 21:33

Dominos is nasty ,full of sugar, salt and msg. Have a salad instead

I could probably eat a medium one over an evening but if it's domino's I'd pay for it with a really gripey tummy, I don't know what it is in the dough but it makes me feel wretched.

And I'm horribly jealous of anyone who can eat this way and stay a size 8. I'd likely gain 7lbs just from sniffing the thing.
