To think the UK media silence on the Prince William rumours is odd

Just that really. No idea if there's anything more than rumour and speculation, but it's all over social media that Prince William allegedly had an affair with one of Kate's friends, but there is a total media silence on it.
Pretty bizarre considering that Meghan Markle barely has to breathe and the media are covering it.

Theory. Maybe WIlliam had a last hurrah with Jecca before her wedding that WIlliam attended on his own in 2016 and rose facilitated or repeated it and has been turfed out.

Good theory Rhubarbisevil, but the photos of them looking friendly and glam at that Hospice gala were June 2016. If you're correct either DOC is a better actress than her SIL or she didn't know.

It’s NEVER just about looks though is it? What makes someone have x appeal is charisma, charm and I think that works both ways. I don’t know anything about these women but maybe Rose makes Wills laugh?

Re “leaking” this to the press, it’s far more likely that a friend of a friend, was too vocal/overheard by someone with press connections who then started doing a bit of digging.

@Laiste- I agree, which is why I don't think Rose leaked it. Or MM actually.

Kate's not keen on a couple of Wills exes but Will still contacts them, I think? There's your leak or at least somewhere to start digging imo. The "MM is a cow witness statements leaks" were a courtier/staff, I think, although not someone in their close camp.

Also note that the photos post Louis are mainly solo engagements and rare displays of flirtation and smiles with WIlliam. It does fit.

The more I delve into this alleged affair and blanket media ban, the more I get a “Handmaids tale” vibe about the male heirs and being married to one.

Sure, because no married man ever cheated with someone who wasn't as good looking as their wife......

However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't see that Kate is 'infinitely better looking' I think Rose is beautiful in a more classical sense, not 'pretty' as you could call Kate, but beautiful.

And elegant, well she's very elegant herself and it's all naturally set on her, not affected.

Diana was stalking a married man, bombarding his home with telephone calls if his wife answered she put the phone down, the wife called the police the calls were traced back to Diana's Kensington apartment, the police had a word with her, she admits this in the book Diana her true story, she was calling the married man's home up to 300 times a month.

Not only Prince Charles but Prince Phillip also had his moments over the earlier years of his marriage. The apple.rarly falls far from the tree.

In fact this PW and Kate thing puts me.more in mind of that than any Diana stories. Probably because Kate has the whole dignified silence and proper behaviour down to a tee. I imagine she models.it on how the queen behaves ( who was also subject to similar criticism of being boring,staid etc.. in her youth)

Pretty sure that this won’t go away like everyone thinks it will. There’s far too much public interest and this is the age of the internet. I think the legal fight is futile and they must realise it. All they’ve done is send legal letters and that’s put fuel on the fire. Imagine if they were to sue a paper, it’d just give it more life. This will eventually implode, all you need is one pissed off staff member or relative to come . Ticking time bomb.

@ happyhillock Diana unlike her peers and the rest of the aristocracy, Diana didn’t use her beauty and title to sit around powdering her pussy.

The woman could have lapped it up in luxury but she stuck out her neck for causes that had her labelled a “loose cannon” and put her in danger. She was one of the few royals to do more than cut ribbons and walked the walk. She was substantial and that’s why people loved her, she wasn’t just about her own ego to be seen to make a difference.
All heart and so sad she isn’t here right now for her next grandchild.

Who cares if she stalked a married man who burnt her. There’s a bit of stalker in all of us. Plus this was before Facebook so she couldn’t just look up his social media profile. We didn’t have much then for a broken heart, just public phone prank calls.

I have heard that it’s true - my mum works with a v posh woman whose daughter is part of the Norfolk set, and apparently it’s common knowledge. And Harry doesn’t approve.

If this is true (and that's a big if) I really think it could be the end of the monarchy. A lot of people don't want Charles to come to the throne because they haven't forgotten how he behaved with Camilla and what happened to Diana. If Wills was found to be cheating and it all came out in public then Kate would surely have to leave him - and with not one adulterous man in line to become king but two, people would definitely start questioning the point of it all.

I was a great fan of Diana's but was sooo disappointed with her re the married men she had or wanted relationships with. She knew the pain it caused her to be cheated on. Why would you cause the same pain ?
