At a local cafe with DS, who is asleep. Actually irrelevant really because this would be annoying even without him. There are THE MOST OBNOXIOUS adults on the next table. Sitting with their trainers on the seat, talking about wanting to “bang their students” (they are teachers). 2 women 1 man - laughing SO SO SO LOUDLY, practically yelling. Showing eAch other photos they take of members of the unsuspecting public. It is literally so unpleasant and I can’t not hear because they are YELLING. This is my local cafe, I know the owner very well but it’s his day off, and even just seeing her with her shoes on the bloody cushions is making me so annoyed. Why can’t adurls behave?! It’s like a bunch of teenagers! WIBU to say something?! (Probably yes)

I would just say something as I left ( or if they leave first) along the lines of I and everyone else has heard their conversation, they are not role models for their students and you will be reporting them

crispysausagerolls · 25/04/2019 11:36

He is just talking about his sexual conquests this is so, so so so deeply unpleasant. Honestly I am not usually a prude but there is a time and place! He just acted out a sexual liaison where the woman hit her head in the car I am just 😱 “she was a nail technician - need I say more??”

you will be reporting them

I would 100% if I knew the school they worked at.

I’d be tempted to say to the man, “I know you, don’t I? My younger sister is at your school.” While looking at them Hmm I can guarantee they wouldn’t be long shutting up.

Singlenotsingle · 25/04/2019 12:06

Good idea S1

NoFucksImAQueen · 25/04/2019 12:06

advice from pp is a good one but I'd change it to you teach my younger sister don't you. incase they are college teachers rather than school. what arseholes

Orchidflower1 · 25/04/2019 12:09

What S1 said . Have they got any lanyards / logos with Id on?

DartmoorDoughnut · 25/04/2019 12:11

Frankly given their behaviour I’d take a photo or better yet a video and stick it on your local FB group. Disgusting behaviour and surely safeguarding concerns if they’re talking about banging students?!

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 25/04/2019 12:12

I'd overhear until one accidentally said school name then I'd report them

S1naidSucks · 25/04/2019 12:12

Good point NoFucksImAQueen.

OttilieKnackered · 25/04/2019 12:13

I don’t see how teachers would be in a cafe at this time.

brizzlemint · 25/04/2019 12:13

Sitting with their trainers on the seat, talking about wanting to “bang their students” (they are teachers).

No teacher would be stupid enough to talk like that about their students in a public place and highly unlikely in private

Pinotjo · 25/04/2019 12:15

Take a photo and shame them on social media Blush

CherryPavlova · 25/04/2019 12:15

I am also wondering how three teachers manage to escape together to go to a cafe?

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 25/04/2019 12:17

Students come in many forms, I wouldn’t necessarily assume they were talking about underage children.

desparate4sleep · 25/04/2019 12:18

Its half term

M3lon · 25/04/2019 12:18

could be college or Uni teachers...would totally go with the suggestion to say your younger sister is taught be them and you're appalled.

I know a LOT of staff who could use helpful wake up call about what they say in public places (though a full personality reboot would be better!)

HollowTalk · 25/04/2019 12:19

I doubt very much that they're teachers, OP. But in any case you could always take a photo of them (given they're happy to take photos of unsuspecting people) and ask around.

abbey44 · 25/04/2019 12:21

Georgie - even if they're not talking about underage children, they're still in a position of responsibility to their students, so it's more than inappropriate to talk about them like that.

Clarinet1 · 25/04/2019 12:21

Could still be on Easter break. However they sound ghastly and, even if there isn't any truth in their stories, even the fact that they are talking about students in this way suggests that they have attitudes which make them totally unsuitable to be teachers.

@desparate4sleep not Easter hols here any more

DustyDustyKeyboard · 25/04/2019 12:24

My kids are on Easter break right now, so it is feasible.

Does the café have CCTV? Is it worth reporting them via their images to the LA?

DustyDustyKeyboard · 25/04/2019 12:25

PS. Also doubting that they are teachers. Very badly misguided trainees who haven't grown up yet? Possibly. I hear there are always a few on each course, and they don't last long.

whippetwoman · 25/04/2019 12:26

We're still on Easter break here. The schools are back on Monday.
