At a local cafe with DS, who is asleep. Actually irrelevant really because this would be annoying even without him. There are THE MOST OBNOXIOUS adults on the next table. Sitting with their trainers on the seat, talking about wanting to “bang their students” (they are teachers). 2 women 1 man - laughing SO SO SO LOUDLY, practically yelling. Showing eAch other photos they take of members of the unsuspecting public. It is literally so unpleasant and I can’t not hear because they are YELLING. This is my local cafe, I know the owner very well but it’s his day off, and even just seeing her with her shoes on the bloody cushions is making me so annoyed. Why can’t adurls behave?! It’s like a bunch of teenagers! WIBU to say something?! (Probably yes)

It doesn't matter what he said he did. If you take photographs or secretly record people you don't know, without their permission, in order to cause trouble for them, then you are on dodgy ground legally.

I don’t need to do either of those things! I was in a cafe having a relaxing coffee whilst DS had a morning nap. These people were YELLING! I am really the last person to be sneaking or spying or complaining about others but this was honestly absolutely vile. The dialogue was vile and the volume was ridiculous and obnoxious. People need to learn how to behave in public.

I don't know about that, Reanimated. How do people's photos appear in newspapers then, if it's illegal to take them without the subjects' permission? It's not defamatory, is it?

How do you know it was school students, they could be PhD students themselves who supervise undergrads? (Still not allowed but not quite the same). People can say things they don't real mean, or rather would never act upon
