Shamelessly using AIBU for more traffic and unlike my username, it is not currently a very sunny evening unfortunately!

DP has just left to take the dog out then he's going to the gym.

I'm going to use the valuable time of having the house to myself to clean out the entire fridge & disinfect it, clean the kitchen, tidy up the living room, pop to the corner shop for a packet of minstrels and come back and watch the latest GOT episode.

I love evenings to myself, our dog (just over a year old) can be a bit whiny sometimes at night as he's not allowed on the sofa and gets jealous, but he likes to follow me around whilst I do things around the house my little shadow.

Watching last episode of The Bay. Beautiful blue sky after rainy afternoon.

It's a thriller set in Morcambe - it's been compared to Broadchurch (of the north). Easy watch - fast moving - not too believable, but it wouldn't be a TV drama if it was 😀.

Making pasta for tea then watching a film and ironing work clothes for tomorrow. I’ve had such a lovely few days off!

Just washed my hair, DH made stir fry. Now sat watching the Walking Dead from the start with a cat on me and probs have some Easter chocolate.

Early start tomorrow as I’ve got a work trip, so early to bed for me tonight.

DH at work, kids in bed.... bliss... but I'm soooo unwell today we've all had the lurgy over the Easter hols. So I'm going to make a brew, grab some chocolate (start the diet again tomorrow) get in bed, have read of MN and will probably have dozed by about 9.30pm. Hoping I'm ok for work tomorrow!!

DD in bed, DH is at the Man Utd vs Man City match and I am reading this epic book in peace. Bliss

Ds1 (17y) has just had a driving lesson and gone to bed.

He’s beyond excited about AVENGERS ENDGAME and he’s napping before getting up at 11pm to go to the midnight showing.

I’m the driver and picking him up at 3.30am.....🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m procrastinating at work because it’s only 1.50pm, it’s slow and I’m the only one of my team in!! Give me strength. I’m especially jealous of the poster in sunny Spain with the cocktail list.

Ds2 is on his iPad.

Dh is playing guitar.

The Village and Pillage update us out so I'll be playing Minecraft.

Lying on my bed listening for my 4 month old who is teething and had injections today to settle, poor soul he's not himself at all! (Also dreaming of the cake in the fridge downstairs that DH bought me today....)

Sitting here in a grump because for three weeks I’ve been asking DH to sort the kitchen floor (give it a good scrub) and yet again when I’ve called to say I’ll be home in 15 he’s gone. I’m just starting the kitchen.

FFS. Dinner is ready (thanks to the pot of instanstness) so the floor won’t be getting done as I’ll need to walk on it.

I went to the hairdresser, then met a friend and her DP for a couple of Proseccos followed by a takeaway with my DF. Now watching the one show feeling rather full

Just setting off to take the kids to an Avengers double bill. They get to see Endgame at one minute past midnight. They are so giddy!!
