Shamelessly using AIBU for more traffic and unlike my username, it is not currently a very sunny evening unfortunately!Grin

DP has just left to take the dog out then he's going to the gym.

I'm going to use the valuable time of having the house to myself to clean out the entire fridge & disinfect it, clean the kitchen, tidy up the living room, pop to the corner shop for a packet of minstrels and come back and watch the latest GOT episode.Smile

I love evenings to myself, our dog (just over a year old) can be a bit whiny sometimes at night as he's not allowed on the sofa and gets jealous, but he likes to follow me around whilst I do things around the houseGrin my little shadow.

Work. Teaching is the gift that keeps on giving. Hoping I can finish early enough to watch Monday's GOT before bed.

Merename · 24/04/2019 20:01

Feeding and settling small children mainly, googling how early you can feel pregnant as I’ve been weirdly nauseous all day and only wanting to eat oranges. Still bfing 7mo old no periods and only had sex twice so that would be a bit mental. Going to go to bed when this one finished feeding. Rock n roll man Smile

Drogosnextwife · 24/04/2019 20:06

I'm in the bath, dp is working away, kids are watching Mr bean. I've still got dishes to do and washing to put away and hang up (in the house because it's to rain tomorrow 😭).
Today has been a shitty day.

CanYouHelpFindThis · 24/04/2019 20:09

Got a bottle of chilled carbinion sauvignon Wine and some savoury snacks and cheese, and me and DH are snuggled up on the couch, getting ready for ep 2 of Corrie, and then the last episode of 'The Bay.' Smile

Chilledout11 · 24/04/2019 20:30

whyayepetal · 24/04/2019 20:40

CanYou

Flowers for you, and can I gently suggest that a call to 111 might not be a bad idea? Hope you feel better soon

Hellhath · 24/04/2019 20:42

I wandered upstairs to put clean washing away at 5pm, sat on the bed to look at my phone and cuddle the dog, and fell fast asleep. I've not been sleeping well this week so went spark out for 2 hours ! I'm obviously now wide awake and planning a mega Homeland binge til the early hours. DH is working early tomorrow so will be going to bed shortly. I have wine and cheese so I'm set.

reytmardy · 24/04/2019 20:43

Waiting for Ds to go to bed so I catch up on my Nick and Katrina ghost hunting episodes

Vanillamanilla1 · 24/04/2019 20:44

Everydaypeople · 24/04/2019 20:49

Watching the football

Raffles1981 · 24/04/2019 20:49

Had a long, very long day with a teething toddler. So having a cold cider with DP and catching up on Attenborough (Netflix) and The Durrell's. Curling up in bed soon with a book.

CanYouHelpFindThis · 24/04/2019 20:50

Thank you
The thing with 111 is that as soon as you mention chest pain, they want to send an ambulance, i def dont need one
Its chest / lung pain rather than heart pain... I had a ECG yesterday too

Nononononono33 · 24/04/2019 20:50

Have been for a run after the first day back at work after Easter, and now watching United v City. As a United fan it’s a bit lose lose and not that much fun. I’d love to have pasta/glass of wine/my Easter egg to cheer me up, but it’s my first day back fasting after over a week off (Easter and illness getting in the way) so I unfortunately can’t!

Lozz22 · 24/04/2019 20:52

Flicking between mumsnet, Facebook texting my Fella and vaping. I live a very sad and pathetic life!! 😂

Jolonglegs · 24/04/2019 20:54

I've just had a lovely long soak in the bath, and now getting ready to watch The Bay.

MaMaMaMySharona · 24/04/2019 21:10

My DM is coming up to visit for the first time this weekend - my DP and I bought our first house in a lovely town in Cheshire end of last year so I can’t wait to show her! Tonight I have been frantically cleaning in preparation and now I’m collapsed on the sofa mumsnetting while DP watches football. Dog is giving me plenty of attention thankfully Smile
