...to want to punch the lights out of the sanctamonious cow who said "Can't you read" to me when I accidently drove against the arrows in Tesco's car park?

Sanctamonious cow. Wanted to shout back (but wasn't quick enough) "Sorry dearie I made a mistake - like the one your mother made when she had you"

or would that have been too OTT? Grrrrr!

I get irritated when people drive against the arrows and so wouldn't do this deliberately - it was an honest mistake. However, I never feel the need to shout at other drivers.

Would bet my life that this stupid bitch has done the same at times. Oh am sooooo angry and annoyed.

Forgive bad language but am sooo cross.

B2B - I nearly got run over by a car once in a one-way system since the (male) driver was so busy looking right, he pulled out left assuming the road was clear.... I was in actual fact crossing the road to my own car at that time. His face was a picture when he realised he'd nearly had me under his wheels. Had I been a child, I doubt if he'd have seen me. Please always check for hazards even in a one-way system .

Goodness we're are all so dourly sensible!

Backtobasics · 09/07/2007 22:06

I see what you mean but if i see a car is pulling out or reversing, i tend not to carry on walking behind him/her. I am not saying thats what you do but i have had many people carry on walking right behind me when they can clearly see i am reversing out.

bookwormmum · 09/07/2007 22:10

Well yes an adult would stop (I did stop walking when I saw him but he still slammed on his brakes when he spotted me which was what probably shook him up)but a child probably wouldn't stop .

LordPan - I think you'll find I've had my title a good deal longer than you've had yours. Oh, and here's where to buy your own silver

LordPan · 09/07/2007 23:46

yes, I know. I own the company.

That's why we don't associate with the cadets. Too much given to unseemly public squabbling.

havent read all of the thread just the start. all i can say is you must live near me. People are sooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm right and you are wrong. arrogant full of themselves. It is a pretty place but full of people who think they are superior.

my friend who has now moved on said the women on the tesco check-out told her off for stacking her groceries too high

TheDuchessOfNorks · 10/07/2007 00:24

And I am very unseemly

LordPan · 10/07/2007 00:29

ah yes, seducing and generally abusing staff is a good sign of correct breeding! Well done!!
