...to want to punch the lights out of the sanctamonious cow who said "Can't you read" to me when I accidently drove against the arrows in Tesco's car park?

Sanctamonious cow. Wanted to shout back (but wasn't quick enough) "Sorry dearie I made a mistake - like the one your mother made when she had you"

or would that have been too OTT? Grrrrr!

I get irritated when people drive against the arrows and so wouldn't do this deliberately - it was an honest mistake. However, I never feel the need to shout at other drivers.

Would bet my life that this stupid bitch has done the same at times. Oh am sooooo angry and annoyed.

Forgive bad language but am sooo cross.

yes, if it burst her eyes - I am guessing that to 'punch someone's lights out' will involve this. Bleeding, etc....

LordPan · 09/07/2007 19:57

or a breaking of bone etc around the eye socket.

bookwormmum · 09/07/2007 19:59

sanctimonious

tissy · 09/07/2007 19:59

"lights" are some kind of entrail, I think

tissy · 09/07/2007 20:01

just googled, and lights mean lungs,

so, punching someone's lights out, could mean a murder rap!

LordPan · 09/07/2007 20:02

Really? I take it to mean 'eyes'. She may get a trade with CPS for a Section 20 (without intent) but it would be a matter of evidence presented.

Sanctimonius?? Oooh, I DO hope so!!!!

LordPan · 09/07/2007 20:03

Even worse!...well then she may just get manslaughter....phew!!!

bookwormmum · 09/07/2007 20:05

.... and the maximum sentence (although unlikely) is life imprisonment is it not?

LordPan · 09/07/2007 20:06

yes, it is.........but probably worth it in hindsight...

Just hijacking! aibu to have wanted to find the woman in IKEA who shouted at me for parking in a child space and to shove my babies car seat up her nose!! She wound down her window and scowled at me "THAT'S A CHILD SPACE HAVE YOU GOT A BABY????" I only said "yes" back to her but I was really wound up later that I hadnt called her a stupid cow as well! I know how annoying it is when none child cars go in these spaces but surely you would not say anything until you knew for sure there was no baby/ child!!

She was peed off cos she had sped up to get in a space nearer the door and so I went in the space a bit further away but she had gone inso a disabled one by mistake and obviously wanted me to move!! Just because I wasn't driving a people carrier!

Feel better already

unknownrebelbang · 09/07/2007 20:49

do ANY of htem have house numbers?

Backtobasics · 09/07/2007 21:41

If you did it accidently then it doesn't matter as we all make mistakes. I had an incidend though a while back when i reversed out of my parking space looking left when suddenly was beeped by another driver who i nearly hit because he was to my right. He was very angry but he had drove down a no entry so he was in the wrong, i didn't look right as i was pulling it because i wasn't expecting some twerp to be coming from that direction with it being one way and all...

iota · 09/07/2007 21:45

We have no entry signs on the ends of the rows in out local Tesco car park - I would expect a careful driver to notice them, but obviously not the woman who tried to drive in to the one I was exiting last week.

She gave me an angry look and I gave her a hard stare back and pointed to the sign - she backed up and drove off - I think that she left in a huff.

Backtobasics · 09/07/2007 21:51

I know if you knowingly drive down a no entry in a carpark you think it's harmless and even find it amusing to do so but if someone does what i did and reverse without looking both ways thinking no one is going to be coming down a one way, it's so not funny. I imagine the person who reversed would be the one who gets done if they smack into you? It just causes unnessisary grief.
