Not really aibu but posting for traffic.

He's moving Friday, we've bought the below (unexpected tax rebate so he's very lucky).

What have we forgotten? Or what was invaluable to you when you first moved, I can't remember it was so long ago!

Sofa
Microwave
Kettle
Fridge freezer
Toaster
Knives and forks
Tin opener
Bed
Bedding & duvet set
Pans
Tea towels
Towels
First freezer shop - to be done
Wardrobe is built in
Kitchen starter set as in fish slice etc

If he’s a tradesman, why are you organising all of this 🤣

Please tell me he’s not 30 🤣😂

Presumably someone has thought of toilet paper, but he might need help wiping his backside 🤣

Not being mean really, but if he’s already a tradesman he can organise what he needs surely?!

...mind you, you wouldn’t want to stall one ready to fly the nest!!

itsbritneybiatches · 26/02/2019 19:56

Thank you these are great
Keep em coming let's spend that tax rebate lol 😂

IncrediblySadToo · 26/02/2019 19:57

It’s ok. You can put the balance in my account and I’ll look after it for you. I’m good like that.

itsbritneybiatches · 26/02/2019 19:59

He's 21.

I want to make sure he's set up then he won't come back. Wink

Am kidding.

I want him to feel great and sorted when he spends his first night on his actual own as a man.

Washing - I will do until he gets his next pay then he wants to buy his own.

Eliza9917 · 26/02/2019 20:00

How old is he?

brew0andbiscuits · 26/02/2019 20:01

Do you have plates/bowls etc OP? Couldn't see them on your list or does he already have these? Vacuum cleaner and some basic cleaning stuff too!

itsbritneybiatches · 26/02/2019 20:02

@IncrediblySadToo

He's so mature in some ways but he's still a big kid in others.

We're setting him up. He's a good kid/man.

Grown up a lot on the 12 months he's lived with us. His mum mothered him soo much - as she would he's an only child for his mum.

I'm so proud of what he's achieved in a year

itsbritneybiatches · 26/02/2019 20:02
