To tell you Dd has been selected to study separate sciences at GCSE

She is in yr 9 and at her school they start their gcse options in yr 9. They have to achieve a certain level of attainment and effort to be entered into separate sciences.

This is not a stealth boast it is an actual boast.

My dd is dyslexic and in year she couldn't read at all.

Oh that's so lovely! I have a boy the same age with autism and dyspraxia and he has just been told he can do three sciences as well. He's not going to but it made me feel all fluttery. Things that other parents take totally for granted.
