It takes you 48 hours to tell me.

Super-apologetic emails.. but not super-efficient, super aware of their cyber responsibilities.

If #Mumsnet kept our ‘data’ rather than our thoughts they would be facing heavy financial penalties. but they don’t.. so they can continue to play at being a grown-up organisation around the kitchen table.

Many user ids were ‘swapped’ and each user was able to access personal information / posts from the other.

The most recent in a line of mumsnet databreaches.

they don’t have appropriate security staff & processes.... but they are Terribly, terribly sorry.

I'm confused. I was logged in the entire time this was going on, and was forcibly logged out along with everyone else when it broke. I haven't had any email from MNHQ.

For all those concerned.. the databreach will have been a breach of #GDPR

I’d be more concerned that someone else had access to my personal messages, but allowing access to data is what the offence is.
