I wonder if I am being unreasonable to be disappointed with this. I would be interested to hear your descriptions of the product that you see in the attached picture, so I can judge whether I misjudged what I was buying and shouldn't have felt a little misled

A twin pack of farmhouse pate? Confused

InspectorIkmen · 16/01/2019 21:56
Confused
Atalune · 16/01/2019 21:56

Farmhouse pate. Opened with a bit eaten out of it.

RJnomore1 · 16/01/2019 21:57

I'll go for twin pack of coarse textured farmhouse pate.

Doyoumind · 16/01/2019 21:57

Are you upset because it's a normal sized pack split into two portions? If so, where did you think the other pack was?

senua · 16/01/2019 21:58

The best-before / sell-by date is yesterday's.

BusySnipingOnCallOfDuty · 16/01/2019 21:58

Looks like mangled ex living organism of some sort.

Don't get me wrong, Im an omnivore, it just looks very much like that 😂

LuluMelons · 16/01/2019 21:59

Looks like a slice of bread to me, looking closely it's pâte

TeenTimesTwo · 16/01/2019 21:59

I'd expect it to be one long bit of pate, with a small 1-2cm gap.

I expect you have a gap nearly as long as the cardboard sleeve, which I would agree is misleading.

dementedpixie · 16/01/2019 21:59

It says 2 x 85g so looks like 2 small packs.

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 16/01/2019 21:59

Ooooh
Is this one of those things where the cardboard covers a big pate gap?

LuluMelons · 16/01/2019 21:59

Or, is it shaped like a penis??

NorthernRunner · 16/01/2019 22:00

Aside from being out of date yesterday I can’t see what’s wrong...

Fiddie · 16/01/2019 22:01

What was wrong with it?

Ultramic · 16/01/2019 22:03

Pate that's been squashed/dried on one end?!

Betsy86 · 16/01/2019 22:03

Dont even like pate.... just need to know what the hells wrong with it 🙃

SneakyGremlins · 16/01/2019 22:04

There's a big gap in the middle I reckon.

Hannahcabanna · 16/01/2019 22:04

What namechange said.

There’s no food under the cardboard.

ScienceIsTruth · 16/01/2019 22:09

2 pack of pate totalling 170g. I know from experience with other brands that the cardboard covers a lot of empty space, which is deceiving, as you'd expect the split to be in the centre and the pate to go almost to the end of each pack.

BrokenWing · 16/01/2019 22:18

Middle seal hasn't worked/been missed and it is one pack with a nice shaped bit of pate, then a splodge in the same pack.

BrokenWing · 16/01/2019 22:20

Or a dead mouse/spider/piece of plastic/foreign object in the middle

speakout · 16/01/2019 22:21

The piece on the right looks mis-shapen or a piece missing- have you opened it and used some?

RedHatsDoNotSuitMe · 16/01/2019 22:21

I'm impressed with those of you with good enough eye sight to read the sell-by date.

A twin pack of pate.

Was it not nice?

Sparklingbrook · 16/01/2019 22:21

Yes, it went out of date yesterday. Other than that no idea.
