Never ever wake them. I am sat in bed enjoying the peace. My 23 month old is still fast asleep.

MollysMummy2010 · 25/12/2018 06:36

I am sat here with the cat!

DisneyMillie · 25/12/2018 06:37

Yanbu. I swear it’s the best my 2 year old has slept for months and the 9 year old is normally up and about by now too - hurry up and wake up kids!!

purplerainpitcher · 25/12/2018 06:38

same here I'm led awake DH keeps telling me to go back to sleep I think if I wake up our 9 year old I'll be in trouble haha

bookworm14 · 25/12/2018 06:39

YANBU. I’ve been awake since 5 for some reason and DD is still peacefully slumbering! Don’t want to wake her though as the more sleep she gets now, the less likely she is to be overtired and ratty later...

TokyoSushi · 25/12/2018 06:39

Awake & waiting here too!

TheGhostOfYou · 25/12/2018 06:39

Yanbu. I do it every year! Although I am waiting until 7 this year.

Theyhaveallbeenused2 · 25/12/2018 06:40

I've made a coffee and brought it to bed..I thought at 3 the early rising would start..I'm excited

LittleAlbatross · 25/12/2018 06:41

Ha, all year round my two wake at six. Today: Zzzzz

DeathMetalMum · 25/12/2018 06:41

I've been awake since about 5.15. I suddenly remembered we hadn't dealt with the mince pie. Blush Dp had done the carrot and my job is usually to demolish the mince pie. No signs of stiring yet. I am always first up on Christmas, dc have been up by now every day this week.

Therunecaster · 25/12/2018 06:42

Here they come....hurrah.

Wide awake here just been and made a cup of tea, mine are 9,11 thought they would be up by now

Alittlebitofthis · 25/12/2018 06:42

Oopsy, my ds has been awake since 3 as well. He's 6. Finally gave up trying to get him to go back to sleep and we got up at 4.30.

christmasisuponus · 25/12/2018 06:42

Merry Christmas everyone, OH has woke me up with his heavy snoring and I have headache, my sinuses are blocked and I don't want to go downstairs for some tablets as it may spoil the magic if they wake up.

Goldenbaubles · 25/12/2018 06:43

Merry Christmas anyway to everyone!

NOTthepinkranger · 25/12/2018 06:44

I’m really shocked my son (3) is still asleep, he was so excited last night bouncing off the walls but went to bed at 7:30 and not a peep since.

I think I’ll wake him at 7

ElfrideSwancourt · 25/12/2018 06:45

I've been up since 4 ( unfortunately normal for me ) have finished making the croissants, glazed the ham and am now having a break and cuddling the cats.

I keep turning up my Xmas music hoping it might wake someone!

My DDs are older teens so are v good at lying-in but it's Christmas morning ffs!

Therunecaster · 25/12/2018 06:45

False alarm. It was my PIL and MIL. All 3 of us are sitting waiting now...DH still asleep but soon to be woken

My DS is awake and chatting in his cot (2.5) singing jingle bells. He's not quite got the concept that Santa has been but once he's downstairs it's going to be carnage 😂 I'm just making a cup of tea and I'll get him up at 7 and hope DH follows suit!
