And a guesstimate of how many swears and how many missing pieces there will be?

We've got to try and get a Barbie Dreamhouse Down from our loft room at some point. Won't be building it this year thankfully. Just the box and will build it in dd's room on the day.

A tower of vienetta. All for me!!!

Butterflysprinkles · 24/12/2018 16:59

Good you dont have to build it tonight!

We have 2 bikes! There will be lots of swears and moans as there always is when we build things haha.

BooLloyd · 24/12/2018 17:00

A dollhouse. I'm hoping it'll be quick and easy because already tired.

BooLloyd · 24/12/2018 17:00

*I'm

DeRigueurMortis · 24/12/2018 17:01

Thankfully nothing this year, but last year was fun trying to build a full size drum kit without making any noise Grin.

checkingforballoons · 24/12/2018 17:02

Nothing! Everything is wrapped too, but there will be lots of Lego constructing in the morning Grin

itbemay · 24/12/2018 17:03

I was just sitting here, everything wrapped for teens thinking about how we used to be putting together all sorts in years gone by. I really miss it (sometimes)! Good luck to all you wonderful lot - don't lose the vital bits and read the instructions first!!

mommybear1 · 24/12/2018 17:06

An Aldi toy kitchen - why so many dowels Confused

WeCameToDance · 24/12/2018 17:07

A 3 storey toy garage. Im cursing myself for not putting it together earlier.

NigelGresley · 24/12/2018 17:14

Nothing. Christmas Day is for building! If you’re not helping to put something together on Christmas Day you’ve gone wrong somewhere Grin

bushtailadventures · 24/12/2018 17:15

A castle dolls house, and a childs table and chairs, keeping my fingers crossed both will be easy, but knowing from past experience they probably won't be!

SheLivesInHope · 24/12/2018 17:17

A dolls house and an outdoor play house that will have to be done outside as it won't fit through the door once built!

cheesenpickles · 24/12/2018 17:18

After the ELC kitchen last year (divorce was mentioned) and the bloody Cozy Sodding Coupe of the year prior, learned our lesson.

The Dreamhouse looks a tad... flimsy when put together so makes sense to build it in her room. Have to say though, some of my best memories are coming down to find my Oh! Penny house put together and set up and a brand new bike with a bow on. HaloStar

I took the kids out this morning and left DH at home building a dolls house. It meant he got out of visiting my folks and I didn't have to listen to him swear at it, or help in any way! Winner. I'm going to do it every time there's stuff to be built Christmas eve.

Storminateacup1 · 24/12/2018 17:31

A little tikes car! Nice and easy!

We got DS a climbing frame for the back garden which is huge, but DH made it a week or so ago and we papered up the windows. Grin

Purplehammer · 24/12/2018 17:32

Christmas morning and you’ve forgotten the,AA batteries.
That’s when the shit hits the fan.

cheesenpickles · 24/12/2018 17:33

@Purplehammer my mum used to wrap them too Grin

SocksRock · 24/12/2018 17:33

We've gone the Lego route this year so they will be doing all the building themselves :-) DD1 is getting a phone though, so I would imagine we will see little of her beyond requests for me to authorise apps for her - it's locked down to the nines. It will be a no to snapchat, yes to WhatsApp, and no to Instagram at the moment...

Jackshouse · 24/12/2018 17:35

We built the Aldi shop/theatre on Tuesday Halo but we need to wrap it tonight.

MissCalamity · 24/12/2018 17:37

Xmas Grin A barbie house - can't wait!
We didn't have one to do last year, but my friend tagged me on a time hop photo from 7 years ago, her & her husband came round for a drive and he got roped into helping DP build the cozy coupe...that was quite amusing! Xmas Wink

Governoress86 · 24/12/2018 17:38

We have nothing to build this year, however there will be lots of Lego building in the morning..

Last year we spent 2 hours building a massive doll house..... That was bad enough.

Fuckyousanta · 24/12/2018 17:38

No building but lots of pissing around with parental controls, restrictions and geofencing. All of them are at the end of their contracts so lots of new phones etc

AnyOldPrion · 24/12/2018 17:38

A puppy! Well, we’ve fed him and he’s building himself....

Have still to wrap his presents though. I think he may have more than the (teen/young adult) children!

RolandDeschainsGilly · 24/12/2018 17:38

An IKEA kitchen for the toddler.

Thank fuck the other kids haven’t asked for anything fiddly!

SleepySofa · 24/12/2018 17:42

Nothing for once! DS has a shit-tonne of Lego but we’ll build that together tomorrow.
