And a guesstimate of how many swears and how many missing pieces there will be?

We've got to try and get a Barbie Dreamhouse Down from our loft room at some point. Won't be building it this year thankfully. Just the box and will build it in dd's room on the day.

Nothing this year thank goodness. Quite a bit of Lego to build tomorrow though.

easyandy101 · 24/12/2018 17:43

Spliffs

AnonSource · 24/12/2018 17:43

We have a wooden toy kitchen to put together. DH got the instruction out the box earlier to prepare himself.... so many bits and pieces, he's already given up!

We have also realised we haven't bought a single battery!!!!

Bring on bedtime when I can open a bottle or two!

pinklemonade84 · 24/12/2018 17:45

we’ve got a wooden kitchen to build and a scooter to put together Confused

CatsCatsCats11 · 24/12/2018 17:46

A kitchen and a garage already debating whether to put the toddler to bed early 🤔

StylishDuck · 24/12/2018 17:49

A dressing table for DD and a VTech activity table for DS. There will be tears I'm sure. After the Cosy Coupe though it should be a breeze (the front wheels are still the wrong way round 2 years later).

RangeRider · 24/12/2018 18:08

Feeling gutted that I didn't buy myself some Lego to build once I've kicked my parents out tomorrow Sad

SierraJensen · 24/12/2018 19:20

Just a scooter this year!

SparkyBlue · 24/12/2018 19:23

Thomas Grand Station(or whatever the bloody thing is called).

EnglishRose13 · 24/12/2018 19:24

A kitchen.

Well, my husband and my dad will be...

1sttimeunicorn · 24/12/2018 19:26

Ikea toy kitchen! Currently in progress. More bits than expected. Hoping toddler DS likes it.

XmasFairy7 · 24/12/2018 19:28

This thread brought a smile to my face. One year I made the Playmobil Victorian townhouse AND all the roomsets to go with it. Xmas Hmm Took a stonking 4 hours!

posthistoricmonsters · 24/12/2018 19:31

Having spent the last 10 days building one Ikea bed, one Ikea TV unit, one five by five Kallax unit, one four by four Kallax unit, two lots of two by two Kallax units, two Ikea kids wardrobes, one Ikea midsleeper bed, a small Ikea table, an Ikea kids toy storage unit, our dining table, and doing days and days of drilling things to the walls, tonight we are building......

Sweet, sweet nothing 😁

VeniVidiViciTwice · 24/12/2018 19:33

Nothing to build for Christmas this year, but it's dd2 4th birthday in two weeks and we have to build the Little Tikes Science lab then.

NeedAUsernameGenerator · 24/12/2018 19:37

Nothing, we don't prebuild, but I'll be busy tomorrow with playmobil.

switswoo81 · 24/12/2018 19:40

Mothercare wooden dolls hospital and an Aldi wooden pram . But dh will probably build and I will eat pringles...

PickAChew · 24/12/2018 19:40

DS1 just built some crackers from a kit we've had since he was a baby.

Pinkyponkcustard · 24/12/2018 19:40

Brings back memories- that cozy coupe is an absolute bitch to put together!

Deadbudgie · 24/12/2018 19:52

I’ll be busy tomorrow with playmobil and Lego! Sodding hell I really didn’t think that through did I???

SomethingNastyInTheBallPool · 24/12/2018 20:02

IKEA toy kitchen! It’s a present to DD from my parents, but somehow we’ve ended up building it.

Rockbird · 24/12/2018 20:05

Nothing thank God. Mine are just old enough to be out of the building stuff years. Would give anything to be able to go to bed now though. I bloody hate Christmas Eve!

WhoTookTheChristmasCookie · 24/12/2018 20:09

I've built the Paw Patrol lookout tower without too many swears.
The scooter has received a few choice words
Everything else has gone quite smoothly.

Last year was a different story.
Little Tikes unicorn carriage was an absolute pain in my arse - it got kicked, sworn at and thrown daggers. Still makes my blood boil now, every time I look at the thing I have to take deep breaths. Angry

WineGummyBear · 24/12/2018 20:10

Toy kitchen from Asda.

Waiting for DH to come down with confirmation of sleeping children before we can even start.

I should probably line up some festive TV and drinks...

Purpleartichoke · 24/12/2018 20:10

We are past the building stage, but we always did that ahead of time. I guess we have large house privilege, but it was never that difficult to find a hiding place, even if it meant stashing in our bedroom closet and making it tough to get to our clothes.

I do have to wrap one thing last minute tonight because we want it to have a close to full charge in the morning.

sirmione16 · 24/12/2018 20:10

Nice story but my parents were building my bike when I was little and I heard the little bell ring and was convinced it was reindeers GrinGrin kept me believing even when told he wasn't real!
