It’s chaos in Trump’s world, more so than usual, with #TrumpResign trending in Twitter after a number of key debacles: the pull-out of US troops from Syria, the resignation of General Jim Mattis, and the shutdown of the government over Christmas due to bipartisan disagreement over wall funding. (Those are just 3 issues.) The next few weeks will be rocky.

On Tuesday, Mueller and Rick Gates are scheduled to file a joint status update. He has cooperated fully.

If Mueller/Gates are ready for sentencing, then the memos about his cooperation should follow in late Jan/early Feb. These memos might be some of the most enlightening reports on the Mueller investigation to date.

Gates, unlike Manafort, stayed with Trump through the transition in an official capacity. He knows a whole hell of a lot.

Um. Kellyanne doofah says that the FBI has people in it who are "disloyal to President Trump".

But their oath is

"I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

Nothing at all about helping the president; doing their job of defending the constitution, according to their oath, is not disloyalty to the president, because actually they don't have and are not expected to have loyalty to any particular president. Unless of course the president is working against the Constitution of the United States.

This is another one like "if he isn't afraid of what Meuller will discover, why is he making such a fuss against him?"
