Currently 4am where I am. Have had absolutely no sleep bar about 20 minutes an hour ago. A combination of:

Period pain
Coming off anxiety medication
DH arriving home from work Christmas do at 1am, and snoring, kicking and stealing the covers all night long (sleeping soundly may I add!!!!!)
Laying here silently seething because of the above

Have to be up at 6. Anyone else??

Baby woke up at 2:35. Alarm goes off at 5:15. Fun times.

TopBitchoftheWitches · 20/12/2018 04:11

Been awake since 1.30am. I did go to sleep about 11pm I think so better than nothing.

TheRealHousewifeofCheshire · 20/12/2018 04:13

ME

CharleeFarley · 20/12/2018 04:13

04:13 and feeding the newborn. So fed up with being the only person who can feed him.

SquigglePigs · 20/12/2018 04:14

Yeah. My 2 week old has been cluster feeding since 8pm! Hoping she'll finally settle soon...

CharleeFarley · 20/12/2018 04:16

...and today is the first day of the Christmas hols, so in three hours, my six- and eight-year-olds will start their chorus of "I'm booooored, what can I do mummy?" 🙈

7kyay · 20/12/2018 04:18

My 8 week old won't go back in his moses basket... I've tried 3 times and he fusses himself into crying every time

Greensleeves · 20/12/2018 04:19

I can't sleep. Racing brain and panic attack stuff. It's a PITA.

Readytogogogo · 20/12/2018 04:19

Up since 1am with my eight week old.

Readytogogogo · 20/12/2018 04:20

7kyay... exactly the same! So fed up

Littleloaf · 20/12/2018 04:20

We've just moved house and I think the heating system is broken. Waiting for 6am when DH thinks the old owners programmed it to turn on, but not feeling hopeful as it was off all day yesterday and it's getting very chilly around here!

Slugslasher · 20/12/2018 04:21

Up with sciatica pain. Just got a message on messenger informing me of the untimely death of an old friend. Thinking about her now. I have sent DH downstairs to make tea and toast as we are both awake now.

Count our blessings.

ninecoronas · 20/12/2018 04:21

Feeding the baby (again). In fact, have finished feeding her but am now cuddling her after the 2nd failed attempt to get her back into the cot without screaming the place down. And I think my toddler's internal alarm clock is set for the same time as Thishat...Grin

BunloafAndCrumpets · 20/12/2018 04:22

👋 also up with the baby. Since 1am. I fell asleep at 12...

Greensleeves · 20/12/2018 04:23

OP I also have snoring DH who rolled in drunk from his work do. He only does it once a year, so it's mean-spirited of me, but still. Git.

KeysHairbandNotepad · 20/12/2018 04:24

On wake-up 4 with my teething (but crappy sleeper anyway) 13 month old. One of the better nights in the last 3 weeks. Damn molars.

I hope all pps are sleeping soundly now.

BridgeFarmKefir · 20/12/2018 04:25

11 week old up feeding. Changed her nappy and she was in a very playful mood which is cute but I know it's going to take an age to settle her again...

StripyDeckchair · 20/12/2018 04:25

Up with teething toddler, feeling sick with worry about a flight I've got to take in 10 days time. News about the drones at Gatwick isn't helping.

ironinglady57 · 20/12/2018 04:30

I'm awake with my DC currently watching baby shark for the 100th time

FuzzyHeaded · 20/12/2018 04:30

Hello! Got to be up at 4.45am to drive for a flight. Woke up feeling too hungry to sleep (pregnant so hungry all the time) but don't want to leave warm bed even earlier. Now lying awake worrying about kittens who I've had to leave in the cattery for the first time. Plus my back hurts.

Easy to say whilst pregnant but lying awake with period pain is the worse, OP. I always try to wait it out when I should really get up and take medicine / make a hot water bottle.

mimibunz · 20/12/2018 04:31

Dcat sang the song of his people at 3:30 so I’m here too.

FuzzyHeaded · 20/12/2018 04:32

And un-Mumsnetty hugs, @StripyDeckchair. My husband has flight anxiety too, it's horrible. You (and he!) are very brave for getting on a plane despite your anxiety.

Frogletmamma · 20/12/2018 04:32

Ran out of meds for anxiety 2 days ago. Asked dh to pick them up 2 days ago. He didn't. Yesterday was out with his parents. Told them I needed to get back before pharmacy shut. Got home at 6 after a frankly terrifying car journey where they got lost, shouted a lot. Mil in passenger seat tried to grab steering wheel at one stage. Got home shaking in pure terror. Dh unsympathetic. Says oh yeah they are like that in the car. Please someone send me flowers x

Greensleeves · 20/12/2018 04:35

Frogletmamma Flowers Flowers Flowers my dh also forgot to pick up my anxiety medication, hence me lying here with racing brain and torturing myself about an email I sent in haste yesterday that upset someone Sad. Anxiety is an evil bastard. I wish someone would clonk me on the head with a sledgehammer.

randomsabreuse · 20/12/2018 04:35

Colicky 6 week old here. Was supposed to be my "night off" where I just feed. He's barely slept apart from 5 minutes before DH failed to hear 3yo so I had to get up holding him to deal with 3yo wanting a wee...
