What is your really far fetched life goal?

Mine is to climb Everest.

Never going to happen, but it's still my goal! I'll settle for seeing it in the flesh... maybe...

bridgetreilly · 15/12/2018 23:23

To be a celebrity on Strictly!

DontCallMeCharlotte · 15/12/2018 23:24

Finding a house with parking in a town notorious for having little or no parking. It's literally the only thing stopping me.

NewishMum85 · 15/12/2018 23:24

Build my own home.

PookieDo · 15/12/2018 23:25

To own my own home and car

Fantasisa · 15/12/2018 23:26

Bridget - me too!

And I would like to swim the Channel. That was my childhood dream but I’m a wuss now!

ButterflyWitch · 15/12/2018 23:26

I want my pre-baby life. My body, looks, SLEEP(!), friends, social life, health, travel, career prospects etc.

Love my babies but wow there's no room for 'me' anymore

InSightMars · 15/12/2018 23:28

To travel into space, ultimate goal as indicated by username. I know it won't happen for me but I can still look at the stars and dream. It's exciting to see there may be some limited kind of space tourism on the horizon. I'm too poor for that obviously and, when they do send people to Mars, it's going to be the elite of young, fit, healthy astronauts, engineers and scientists not aging, creaky admin managers like me.

PipGoesPop · 15/12/2018 23:30

To be blissfully happy all of the time.

To see the Earth from space.

Pumpkin314 · 15/12/2018 23:30

Write a novel. Even more unrealistic goal is to make a living writing novels. It's particularly unrealistic because I haven't as yet ever sat down to write one and I have no ideas. I think perhaps what I really want to do is be paid to sit around in my pjs, possibly in my beautifully decorated, cosy writing shed (currently undecorated and full of junk and the occasional dead bird), and write massive rip offs of my favourite books without anyone calling out my shameless plagiarism

iateallthecheesecake · 15/12/2018 23:31

To own a Louis Vuitton power suit...

AnnabelleLecter · 15/12/2018 23:32

To buy a house with many acres of land and woodland and have rescue animals and a nature reserve.

Pumpkin314 · 15/12/2018 23:32

Space and Everest sound like good fun too. I might start an entire unrealistic bucket list

BoebePhuffay · 15/12/2018 23:34

Meet a nice man who wants to marry me.

babysharkah · 15/12/2018 23:35

To be mortgage free...on a fuck off mansion or chateau with no running costs.

Evidencebased · 15/12/2018 23:35

Beautiful sailing boat.
The Caribbean.
That's it, really.

HannahnotAgnes · 15/12/2018 23:35

I second writing a book.

To own a bookshop / cafe by the sea. I currently live about as far from the sea as you can get in this country, and my husband owns a very successful business here so it's not going to happen.

Youngandfree · 15/12/2018 23:42

@Evidencebased.... meh....honestly Caribbean sailing is not as smooth and as sunny as you think 🤮 (and I was a fairly seasoned sailor at the time) nice around some of the smaller islands yes and pretty waters at times. But woah it could get so so rough! Sorry but i just got flashbacks 😬🤢

Racecardriver · 15/12/2018 23:43

Noble prize. Just kidding. I’d settle for a booker....now I just need to go off and write a mind blowing novel (can’t be that hard can it?) Grin

TheRoadNotTaken · 15/12/2018 23:44

To be a Captain in the merchant navy. I could have made it happen, but I chose a different path, the safe path and followed my heart in a different way.

Youngandfree · 15/12/2018 23:44

However... you never stipulated that you wanted to actually sail it so I will add living in the Caribbean (few different islands) in a marina on a sail boat for nearly 2years 🙌❤️ Do it!! 🤣

Youngandfree · 15/12/2018 23:46

I would love to be in a stage production or a movie 🤣🤣I wouldn’t have a clue where to start but hey if we’re talking far fetched!!

thefourgp · 15/12/2018 23:47

Learn to play the piano. I don’t have the money or the time. Maybe when the kids are grown up. X Smile

EleanorAbernathy · 15/12/2018 23:49

To get really good at playing the guitar! (I've actually stared working on it but keep.losi g motivation) Maybe one day! Smile
