What is your really far fetched life goal?

Mine is to climb Everest.

Never going to happen, but it's still my goal! I'll settle for seeing it in the flesh... maybe...

To make a living selling show stopper cakes

To give up work and volunteer instead.

To win an Olympic medal! I’m 44, slightly overweight and not overly sporty. I’m now thinking it’ll have to be in something like shooting, curling or bowls. Never done any of them yet...

To live a sophisticated cosmopolitan lifestyle where I cross cross Europe by train, effortlessly switching between different languages and being both fluent and suave enough to joke with the locals in all of them

To own an estate with a pheasant shoot for husband and a lovely big farm house and not have to work. That's the dream

The unrealistic goal I'm aiming towards is a craft shop in our town but I can't afford the rent

I would love to run an ultra marathon. And I would also love to own and run a horse yard and ride competitively again. I’m so broken and injured from previous competitive sports tho that it’s never gonna happen 😕 I would also love to be a University speaker and travel the world lecturing on my specialist subject (I have no idea what that would be 😂). I would also love to have my photography recognised and published somewhere. Anywhere!

I memorise long-odds sporting and other results so I can get rich at the bookies if I ever find myself travelling back in time, but I'm not sure that's a life goal.

To pay off my insanely large debts and be back in the black again.

Oh, to win the lottery, have an abundance of money, train to be a disaster planner, be awesome at it, manage the shit out of a natural disaster that I warned everyone about but no-one in power listened would take seriously, people will write books about me, there will be a movie, there will not be one mention of my meglomaniac inclinations.

To retire in 14 years

To walk the Camino- maybe when I retire and my knees stop hurting

To get over the debilitating depression I've had for the last decade or so. It makes it impossible to hope or dream of things being better.

Start my own clothing line and make each individual item myself so i know the quality is up to scratch.

I find it sad that it is beyond my reach and others feel the same.

to own and live in a cottage in Orkney.
And be rich enough to be able to travel to exotic places when the weather got too bad

I'm currently part time in a job I love and will never leave so need to find something that can top up my income whilst allowing me to still be there for my kids.

To buy a fixer-upper, completely dilapidated mansion/French chateau and turn it into my palace.

Travel to the million and one places around the world that I want to see.
