Just having a look at the royal family Christmas card pics. Very nice. Love William and Kate’s family pic. How sweet are those kids 😍

Lots of people on Twitter raving about Meghan and Harry’s photo. I genuinely really like Harry and Meghan. Nothing against them whatsoever.

But I absolutely refuse to believe that i am alone in thinking their photo is so awkward looking!

She looks stunning and the background is amazing but it just looks weird! I think it’s the way he’s standing. It’s not elegant. It looks really odd to me.

Anyone else??

It’s a look Meghan clearly likes. But crass though to choose the same look for both weddings. But she probably didn’t even think that. She likes the look ergo the card. Not for me but they aren’t choosing to please me but themselves.

At first glance I thought they were watching an exploding oil refinery.

William and Kate’s card is staged to a ridiculous point. Even the kids have make up on, it’s so obvious.

Surely they would make little kids wear makeup?

The back-turned silhouette with aspirational backdrop is a social media cliche. It's a tease, offering to share a little - but not too much - of a gilded life.

The images shown were posted by the Beckham family and by Beyonce.

In a Christmas card such an image is the visual equivalent of a round robin letter.

I really don’t see the problem of “staging” a Christmas as the Cambridge’s have done. Everybody who sends one of those has had it staged.

I'm not a fan of Meghan and agree that people are wary of her due to her very 'LA' style flashiness and attention-seeking rather because he is mixed-race.

However, there's no evidence that she was married twice before, is there? Aren't marriage certificates a matter of public record in the US?

I thought Meghan was supposed to be a schemer or something. Someone who selects that as their Christmas card image can hardly be the second coming of Machiavelli.

She was married to a producer and divorced after two years, but I think the rumours about a previous annulled marriage are nonsense. If there was any truth to them surely it would have been discovered by now?

I think her 'I didn't know who he was' was an exaggeration, EVERYONE knows the Royal Family especially in USA

Especially as she had read Andrew Morton's biography of Diana and hung out with the Soho House set. I was fairly indifferent to Meghan when she and Harry were dating, but the whole "Is he nice?" thing in the engagement interview just seemed so fake and contrived to me.

If she'd been married twice then the tabloids would've splashed the story across the front page months ago.

I quite like it. It makes me think more of NYE than Xmas.

I truly didn't know who Meghan Markle was and had never heard of Suits and when I saw her had no idea that she was mixed race until I was told.

I think that's more convincing than her saying she didn't know who Prince Harry was. It's up there with Heather Mills saying she'd never heard of Paul McCartney.

I do wish them well but that is a fuckawful photo.
