It's had some good reviews some really bad-mostly about clothes. So though I'd try it out spent about £25 on some okay looking stuff. Anyone bought stuff from them is it just a massive con or just miss and match somes good somes bad kind of thing.
This is what happens when I don't sleep!

Never bought from them tbh but I reckon you gotta let it go!

AGHHHH · 11/12/2018 01:21

It's hit and miss, you won't know until it arrives. Can't you cancel it this early on?

MrsRubyMonday · 11/12/2018 01:21

My wife bought a hoodie from there (Rick and Morty themed) it's thick, well stitched, fur lined and has lasted over two years at this point. Best hoodie she owns, and we have a lot. We did have to massively size up but the reviews let us know by how much. We've also bought a few tat items, fidget spinners, gadgets etc, for very little money. Those are a bit more hit and miss. As long as you read the clothing reviews before purchase you should be alright. Watch Mia Maples on YouTube, she does wish clothing hauls.

xotyl · 11/12/2018 01:26

Ha! I did just that last night. Spend about £20 on bits of cheap nonsense for stocking fillers. Found out today it's all coming from China with an expected delivery of mostly 9th Jan. Don't know what came over me, think I panicked. Sodding Christmas. Be interested if anyone rates them though, I don't have high hopes...

sobeyondthehills · 11/12/2018 01:27

I bought some "lego" off them, couldn't tell it from the real stuff

BastardGoDarkly · 11/12/2018 01:27

I've only ever bought lighting, few pop art pictures and wall decals from there. Really pleased with all of them.

I wouldn't buy clothes, just because I have terrible luck with internet clothes shopping Confused

Kismetjayn · 11/12/2018 01:29

Got quite a lot of bits from there- random stuff like toothbrush holder, boots, hair clips etc. All good quality especially for the price, except for one £3 dress which for some reason was awful, thin, nylon fabric. Everything else including clothing has been fine.

SpaceCadet4000 · 11/12/2018 01:36

I've had a few very cheap or free things from Wish and all have been fine. Stainless steel drinking straws were great. One of my cats will only play with these specific foam balls and Wish have the best price for them by a country mile.

Ginkythefangedhellpigofdoom · 11/12/2018 01:37

You all need to watch wish haul videos on YouTube Grin

KeepTheBloodyNoiseDown · 11/12/2018 01:40

Bought a load of stocking fillers a few months ago, socks seem to be well made and thick, other than that I ordered plastic tat, but everything is fine. Only one thing didn’t arrive on time and they gave me a refund and said that if it does turn up then to keep it.

Xena28 · 11/12/2018 01:45

Iv just bought an unicorn eye mask only paid postage 40p I will put it in her stocking it same when can't sleep go on site buy silly things Iv made few mistakes lol

PyongyangKipperbang · 11/12/2018 02:19

Ordered quite a bit for fancy dress costumes before Halloween and was pleased with all of them. Best was a Bellatrix Lestrange wand, came in a gorgeous box and is really good quality and cost £8!

Outfoxed · 11/12/2018 04:00

I would never buy clothes, the sizing and quality is just so unreliable.
The secret to wish is 1) only buy things with reviews and buyer photos 2) don’t trust the title, read the description and reviews 3) be quick on requesting refunds if you get screwed, they have a time limit which afterward you can only be given “wishcash”.

Namechangeforthiscancershit · 11/12/2018 04:09

Total mixed bag, but I’ve definitely had some Wish wins for very little money.

whatwouldyoubelikeat28 · 11/12/2018 04:32

I know Christmas is expensive, but this is a prime example of a company that buys goods made by people who are on below subsistence wages, a lot of it is tat and will be chucked away to lie in landfill forever, especially if it is poor quality/doesn't fit.

Buy local this Christmas, you won't regret it.

Eliza9917 · 11/12/2018 06:12

I've got the app on my phone. And PayPal Hmm

Some things are hit and miss but the more expensive things (i.e. not pennies or couple of quid) I've found to be good.

DragonSnaps · 11/12/2018 06:17

I bout a few bits from there, but only half of them turned up. I would never use them again.

EricNorthmanIsMine · 11/12/2018 06:30

I've had a couple of things and find that they refund quickly if you are not happy with the quality and raise a support ticket when stuff gets here ... i wouldn't worry Smile

EmUntitled · 11/12/2018 06:31

I would avoid it because I would prefer not to shop somewhere known for "cheap plastic tat". I wonder how many more of their products will be clogging up our oceans in a year's time?

Somewhereovertherainbow13 · 11/12/2018 06:34

Everybody I know says it’s really good but I’ve ordered from there twice and it’s always been rubbish, such a shame. Hope your stuff is good

BSJohnson · 11/12/2018 06:40

In a sweeping generalisation, Wish offers plastic trash (and that includes the clothing) that is shipped over seven thousand kilometres. Please avoid it!

CigarsofthePharoahs · 11/12/2018 07:07

A few ok items, but the reason I gave up with them was a pair of "skinny jeans".
I knew they'd be crap quality as they were cheap, but I wanted some tide me over trousers due to weight change.
What I actually got was a pair of Spandex leggings with denim printed on them, to look like skinny jeans.
Heh. No.

Gigglebrain · 11/12/2018 07:08

I got an offer of a smart watch which was free (they do free stuff to suck you in), the postage was .40p! It came within a week, and it’s actually better than my Fitbit! I’m genuinely amazed. I do not however hold out such hope for the 9.99 coat I’ve bought and am waiting for.
I have it a try as someone I know shops on there all the time and has success.
Hopefully you’ll be lucky!

cdtaylornats · 11/12/2018 07:11

Bought a few bits of computer gear which varied from okay to excellent. They can be a bit slow which seems odd for a target of the instant gratification crowd.

SheCameFromGreeceSheHadaThirst · 11/12/2018 07:18

It’s thoroughly depressing that so many people are enthusiastically buying ‘plastic tat’ just for the sake of it Sad
