From the memories of my youth it’s great and was just sitting with my glass of wine thinking about how a spliff might be a nice replacement treat from time to time

YANBU. A small joint isn’t going to be any worse for you than a few drinks.

Ummmwtf · 06/12/2018 21:15

DH and I have an occasional spliff. He has smoked since university. It's a harmless vice for us. Sometimes we go months without.

Screaminginsidemeagain · 06/12/2018 21:16

I feel this way about cigarettes- the reality is they taste vile.
Joint- after having to move house because of a neighbours pot habit making the house smell like dirty tramp, no I don’t fancy one ever again.

Mynydd · 06/12/2018 21:16

Yes it is nice now and again. Have a treat if you fancy it OP, no different to a few glasses of wine.

Thejezebel · 06/12/2018 21:17

I feel like I need one after the week I have had. One thing after another.

Mynydd · 06/12/2018 21:18

Joints are to be smoked in the garden only is the rule in this house of course! Smoking indoors is hross

Thejezebel · 06/12/2018 21:20

I wouldn't have a bull's notion how to source some weed though. Lol, can you tell you've put ideas in my head?

PetiteMamaNoel · 06/12/2018 21:22

I love one every few weeks, but think it would make me a bad mother. I'm breastfeeding my (almost) 3 year old still.

LilySays · 06/12/2018 21:23

I think it smells so vile. I honestly don’t know how anyone can enjoy it! But each to their own.

PetiteMamaNoel · 06/12/2018 21:23

I would love one*

PetiteMamaNoel · 06/12/2018 21:24

I hate weed, prefer hashish.

Lanaa · 06/12/2018 21:25

I have one occasionally. I'm just home after an exceptionally long and stressful day at work and tempted to roll one right now.

Hoopaloop · 06/12/2018 21:25

YANBU.

Last few times I've indulged, on a whim, I've got brave and smoked a kingskin to myself and whitied. This happened once when I took my dog for a walk in the woods, about 2miles from home and I was so wankered I couldn't even lie down on the sofa and watch Casualty. I ended up going to bed and thinking about all the bad things I'd done in my life instead.

Kezebel · 06/12/2018 21:26

Yanbu Wink

Hoopaloop · 06/12/2018 21:26

^^ missed out that I had to get back to the house while wishing I hadn't been so brave.

Julianaa · 06/12/2018 21:27

Yes but too chicken to buy weed and DH would disapprove.

WorraLiberty · 06/12/2018 21:28

I hate the stuff but I've got no problem with anyone else smoking it

So as long as you're not affecting anyone else, YANBU.

nomorearsingmermaids · 06/12/2018 21:29

YANBU. Miss it. Wouldn't have any idea how to get hold of it these days mind Blush

jessstan2 · 06/12/2018 21:30

Not at all unreasonable, I feel the same at times. Definitely prefer it to booze.

easyandy101 · 06/12/2018 21:33

Ah fuck it I'm going out for a spliff now.

CoperCabana · 06/12/2018 21:36

Trouble is if you don’t smoke it inside your house, you invariably smoke it outside someone else’s and it reeks! Not so bad in the winter but in the summer when we have our windows open, please don’t.

SinglePringle · 06/12/2018 21:37

Hoop that made me Grin!

Last time I ‘smoked’ I ate it in a cake. Itd been years but I’d been a proper late 80’s / 90’s stoner.

Course, I did the fucking rookie mistake of thinking ‘this cake is shit’ and ate the lot. 45 mins later, I had to be scraped off the ceiling GrinGrin.

Was bloody lovely when it mellowed tho’

PinkOboe · 06/12/2018 21:37

That’s what happens to me now too Hoopaloop. It makes me sad that that door has closed to me now but I just can’t hack it anymore :(

ClashCityRocker · 06/12/2018 21:37

I used to partake on occasion, but started to get really bad cotton mouth.

Wordthe · 06/12/2018 21:39

I'm confident it will be fully legal soon but I would suggest vaping rather than smoking if you can
less stress on your lungs
