A nice jumper. Not a Christmassy one just a nice one. And I haven’t been very good all year and it was probably worth it. So I might just get a potato.

BonnieandHyde · 27/11/2018 23:03

Honestly? Just a cuddle from someone I miss terribly and someone to make me a cup of tea.

NeedMoreSleepOrSugar · 27/11/2018 23:03

I have no idea, so lurking to hopefully find some inspiration! Part of or family do wish lists for Christmas, and all I have on mine is a pen pot and a book!

Dowser · 27/11/2018 23:08

Nothing
There’s not one thing I either want or need
Very hard for someone to buy me a present

Cheeseandapple · 27/11/2018 23:11

DH & I had an expensive year so not doing prezzies but if we were I'd liked to have had a nice watch and some new exercise gear, running trainers etc. Really we've been so busy I'm just after some family time.

Kookey · 27/11/2018 23:15

Bonnie sending you a hug and a virtual cuppa Thanks

MatildaTheCat · 27/11/2018 23:15

Experiences.
Sports stuff which is very specific sonwill only be right if someone asks me.
A new version of my usual perfume. Again I need to be asked.

Best gift is someone asking and listening.

sweetkitty · 27/11/2018 23:16

A mug with my name on it for the staffroom at work.
A new necklace (other one snapped)
Perfume as I’ve ran out
New dog walking boots as other ones are broken.

motortroll · 27/11/2018 23:17

Me and dh getting better fitbits (we have sporty hobbies...running and cycling, not secret mumsnet hobbies) so we use them a lot.

I have asked my mum to get me 2 Amazon echo dots as my dh wouldn't buy them as he "can't see the point"

Small gifts I've asked for are yoga and running kit.

We're lucky to have enough this Xmas to spend a fair bit. Well obviously we've worked hard but been lucky with business landing at the right time!

GCAcademic · 27/11/2018 23:18

After coming home frozen and soaked through today, a waterproof down coat for dog walking.

MelanieCheeks · 27/11/2018 23:19

Have already bought myself jo Malone smellies, leather gloves and a chocolate advent calendar. I need a new purse-have some Kipling handbags so maybe a matching one. Oh, and the William shatner Christmas album, natch.

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 27/11/2018 23:23

Nothing.
Deciding not to do adult gift giving is one of the best decisions DH & I ever made. Honestly it's bliss.
We've treated ourselves to a new kitchen though, hopefully ready in time for Christmas! Smile

LEELULUMPKIN · 27/11/2018 23:25

$$$$'s and Euro's. Touring Italy in Jan then the USA in May. I don't want or need more "stuff" Currency is the perfect gift for me so I can spend it on eating and drinking in nice places on my hols.

Allgirlskidsanddogs · 27/11/2018 23:25

24 hours to myself, better yet in a luxury hotel.

adoggymum · 27/11/2018 23:27

Naked 3 eyeshadow palette
Kat Von D eyeliner
New makeup brushes
Some nice Estée Lauder skincare items
Nice underwear (or a voucher to Anne Summers/Blue Bella)

In reality:
Law text books
Plate and bowl sets
New drinking glasses
Boyfriend is surprising me with my gift and won't take any of my suggestions😢 even though he's asked me for specific things😑😂

😅

JaceLancs · 27/11/2018 23:28

Diamond earrings
Grey cashmere scarf
Grey cashmere gloves
Lulu Guinness purse
Perfume
Patterned tights
Black ankle boots
Black handbag

Katedotness1963 · 27/11/2018 23:30

We moved a few months ago, so realistically, there's no money for Christmas presents other than for the kids this year. But as soon as there is spare cash I'm buying a bedside lamp, it's miserable not being able to read in bed!

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 27/11/2018 23:34

For the purchase of my new home to be completed!

Norfolkenchancemate · 27/11/2018 23:35

@BonnieandHyde I'm not the person you miss but I'll gladly ply you with tea, and hugs. BiscuitBrewHalo

JustAskingForAFriend · 27/11/2018 23:39

Nothing. We're not buying for each other as wedding next Yr.
Plus I'm. Not into make up or jewellery, not happy about my figure post baby so no clothes.
My ds insisted on wanting to save his pocket money to buy for me and dp.. Despite us saying no. He's getting me slippers and dp a Cd

helpingvsdoinghomework · 27/11/2018 23:40

@BonnieandHyde sending you a huge hug and a big mug of tea and a chat xx

That missing euro millions ticket would be nice!! A brexet deal!! Peace on earth!! Yes I’m a dreamer!!

DogMamma · 27/11/2018 23:50

My husband is now getting annoyed at me because I don't know what I want apart from a new dressing gown, I've had mine years and last week one of my dogs decided it was suitable to drag into their bed!!!

According to DH, he, mum and my sisters I'm apparently boring because I never want anything they're sick of buying me smellies, pjs or scented candles. (All three I love to receive)

But I don't want or need anything ! Oh my burts bees lip balm is about to run out so I might ask for one

Littlelambpeep · 27/11/2018 23:56

We went on a mini break abroad a few months ago (very reasonable) and I want to bring family away again in the spring so dh and I are swapping 40 presents

I don't know what to ask for ? Maybe nice make up or jewellery
