To think I would suit this hair style?

My sister said I definitely would not suit it. I disagree and I WANT TO LOOK LIKE FRANKIE! Ahem.

Thoughts?

I’m the pixelated one btw Grin.

From what I can see you would suit it.

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 12:15

Thank you! That’s one to me. .

My DD has that cut and it looks ace!

Cottipus · 13/11/2018 12:22

Nice cut, why not take a photo and ask your hairdresser for advice if it will suit your hair type etc?

Funkyslippers · 13/11/2018 12:39

I have no idea if it would suit you but it probably needs more styling than you think and you'd probably need quite thick hair too

Aquamarine1029 · 13/11/2018 12:47

What you should be asking is does your hair type suit this style. Your hair looks thin and that style you're loving needs thick, voluminous hair. I would speak to a qualified stylist.

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 12:47

Hmmmmm I do not have thick hair.

I went to the hairdresser recently to have it cut short and she cut it sort of mid neck length, as she didn’t want to cut it all off at once in case I changed my mind...

I think if I went back she’d cut it short.

Hmmm not sure. I think that style really needs either a rich dark brunette or a bright blonde, it’s a cute cut (but a bit dated already, when was that singer first famous with it?) but I’m not sure if it’ll work with your hair colour and texture. Maybe your sister isn’t just being mean? Smile

FearLoveAndTheTimeMachine · 13/11/2018 12:50

Actually on further inspection I don’t think it’s flattering, it makes her head look very misshapen and lopsided.

Your hair doesn’t look straight enough to carry it off so it might look very different on you?

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 12:52

My hair isn’t straight either .

You'd need thick hair to carry it off.

I tried something similar and kind of looked like I had no hair at all Smile

PainUni · 13/11/2018 12:53

It suits your face shape but I think you need thick hair for that style.

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 12:54

Sigh. I think I might have to admit defeat here then.

I just really want short hair! I’ll keep hunting for pics that might suit me.

Bombardier25966 · 13/11/2018 12:55

You could go much shorter, but think more sleek than big.

Jobbyjoberson · 13/11/2018 12:55

You need thick, straight hair for that I’m afraid

Agree with your sister

Bluntness100 · 13/11/2018 12:55

You could fairly mimic it to see. Pin your hair up at the back and give yourself a very extreme side parting, swiping your hair over to one side of you face and see if you like it.

EdWinchester · 13/11/2018 12:56

You definitely need thick hair, sorry.

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 12:56

The problem is I have a tiny head and petite features, (delicate like Grin), so think I need bigger hair....

pigeondujour · 13/11/2018 12:56

Sorry OP but anyone who would look that good with that haircut would already be famous Wink

Tighnabruaich · 13/11/2018 12:58

How about something like this?

TheBananaStand2 · 13/11/2018 12:58

Ahhh! Don’t lose heart, OP! A short style can look great on many hair types - my friend has fine blonde hair, and has it cropped, sort of assymettrically, and it looks great. I think you just need a consultation with a good hairdresser and they’ll be able to advise.

Birdsgottafly · 13/11/2018 12:59

I had that style when I was younger. You do need thick hair.

It's a style that you get to make styling thick hair easier. As well as face shape.

Tighnabruaich · 13/11/2018 12:59

Could be zhoushed up to look like this

Some good ideas on here. Colour plays a part too though.

Petite features don't need big hair. Quite the opposite!

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 13:01

Grin.

Yeah I like those pics.
