To think I would suit this hair style?

My sister said I definitely would not suit it. I disagree and I WANT TO LOOK LIKE FRANKIE! Ahem.

Thoughts?

I’m the pixelated one btw Grin.

No idea who Frankie is but it's an awful hairstyle in my opinion.
Each to their own though!

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 13:42

How about this sort of thing?

The thickness or straightness of your hair doesn't matter as you need to be committed to using a lot of product and styling it anyway
Your face shape will suit it, yes.

PuppyMonkey · 13/11/2018 14:17

I think there’s a nice hairstyle hidden somewhere in that pic of Frankie, but she needs all that silly unkempt tussled stuff on top combing out or cutting out. Grin

The short blonde haircuts on here look far nicer to me and would probably suit thinner hair. Hair straighteners will sort out any errant curly bits.

WhiteDust · 13/11/2018 14:18

Yes! The Carey M style would suit your hair type! It's lovely!
She has Fine, slightly wavey hair like yours.
I wouldn't go for your pic OP. The model has thick hair.

hula008 · 13/11/2018 14:18

I have long curly hair (lots of it but actually quite fine hair). It's a lot easier to maintain than when I had a pixie cut and had to straighten in the morning and add product to maintain the hairstyle all day.

In any case, hair grows! If you don't like it, it will grow. You can get a hat Grin

WhiteDust · 13/11/2018 14:20

Look at her hair a bit longer

Cherries101 · 13/11/2018 14:20

I don’t think you would suit it. Your hair is too fine and curly. That particular style needs thick volumous hair.

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 14:21

Yeah I like that longer one too, but I love the idea of not having to faff around styling it. I’d assumed, the shorter I had it, the less faff it might be, but seemingly not the case. Hmmmm.

This? Or is this just like the original one that everyone said wouldn’t suit me..?

The thing is, my hairdresser is always fully booked. If I go for a consultation with her and then book it’ll take aaaages.

I too was thinking pixie cut!

MrsStrowman · 13/11/2018 14:44

OP I had an undercut chin length sharp graduated Bob (it was the nineties I was a teenage that's all I can say) , I have long thick hair that at the time was wavy, it's gotten curlier as I got older. I thought it would be easier to manage it really wasn't it was a nightmare, you can't just bung it up in a pony tail/plait/bun and you have to properly style it every day. I now have thick curly hair most of the way down my back and honestly it's easy, I wash it bung some product in let it air dry done, or I straighten it and whilst or takes a while the guest time because of the weight it holds for days with only a light touch up with the straighteners. The shorter cuts will suit you but don't think they're an easy option! (Although I do sirens a significant proportion of my salary on conditioner now...)

gingernutrichtea · 13/11/2018 14:48

Book in for a hair cut but say on the phone you don't know excatly what you want then show her what you like and she can advise

TeddybearBaby · 13/11/2018 14:48

Your hair is curly? Defo don’t go for a fringe. That’s just my opinion obvs 😂. I don’t think it ever works. My daughters hair is curly. I find long hair easy cos it can be tied up and out of her face easily. Can’t do that with short hair and it seems to take a lot of styling?

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 14:49

I mean... I’ve had short-ish hair (also an undercut Grin). It really wasn’t that bad to style iirc... My hair looks like a savage beast’s when it’s long and not straightened to death Sad. Hate it. Want it chopped off so it will leave me alone.

Buzz cut Wink?

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 14:49

I don’t suit it tied up unless the front is loose. The back is awful. I have a natural mullet Grin.

maplebaconbun · 13/11/2018 14:59

You'd have to use product and straighteners every day to ensure it looks like that. Seems quite high maintenance. But it would deffo suit your face shape. Might have to get your hair a more striking colour as well.

TeddybearBaby · 13/11/2018 15:13

Sitting outside the school ‘lol’ imagining a curly mullet 😂. Seems like such a shame to me to straighten curly hair. My daughter is the same though 😢

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 15:18

I know! Aren’t I the lucky one? Why did I get a natural, curly mullet? Harrumph.

You see, if I get it all chopped off and pile it atop my head, I’m hoping there will be no straggly old front-for-business-back-for-party shenanigans.

WannabeFrankie · 13/11/2018 15:29

Thanks lougie. I do like that, however I see a sneaky little tuft poking out the back of it.... like a mullet, dun, dun, DUN Grin!

Other than that it’s nice. Thank you.
