I include a picture of a letter he wrote to the Guardian in the 90s about sex with children. It is deeply disgusting. A man who has these views about sex with kids should not be allowed to run anything.

I am truly shocked. I saw him on TV recently when he was approaching people coming out of mosques and I thought he was doing a good thing confronting religious antagonism to gay men. Now I feel differently about him.

It was published in The Guardian, so it's not like it was a right-wing paper that might want to maliciously edit his letter to make him look bad. There is no evidence of him correcting the letter or seeking an apology at the time.

Speaking as a survivor of childhood SA, I'm absolutely disgusted. Children are unable to consent to sex, at all. My DSis and I both suffer from PTSD as a result of what we've been through. My DB, who seemingly involved himself willingly in sexual activity with us, is now completely destroyed as an adult, with serious MH issues, his life has been completely destroyed.

Lots of rumours about why Jimmy Saville was protected his whole life from prosecution... if this guy was offered a knighthood it does all seem to tie in. The age of consent being lowered is so thy can argue that children can also consent to transition via blockers etc. It’s a way of making children vulnerable to their grooming.
