Just been watching coverage on Channel 4 News. One speaker said that although Trump’s Press Conference was a car crash, it was a stroke of PR genius - now everyone is talking about the presser and not the result of the election. She’s right.

The Mueller probe was no safer with Sessions than without him. Good riddance.

Mueller no doubt anticipated this. I would not be surprised if there were indictments ready to go or even indictments already handed up but under seal. His report on obstruction issues is presumably done.

And this is why Dems taking over the House is a game changer. Remember that if Whitaker denies any requests/recommendations made by Mueller, he is required under the SC regs to notify the chair and ranking member of the Judiciary Committee. And now they can haul him in.

My DS1 found this on Whittaker. He didn't quote me his source, but my son is pretty good on using reliable sources. Whittaker is a Scrotus Stooge.

So Rosenstein is no longer overseeing the investigation, Whitaker is. Rosenstein was only doing so because Sessions recused himself. This is a nightmare! But here's a tweet from 16 months ago from Rep Schiff.
