Bolleaux. I'm with you on not knowing what the hell is happening. But I think it was me who said the writing is on the wall. I'm wired to join the dots and from my vantage point, I'm seeing the right becoming more deceptive (Health care and voter fraud). They created the opportunity for an increasingly violent tone when they accused the Dems of the same thing over Kavanaugh.
All of this, plus the intervention of Putin, voter suppression and the tightening of the polls is upping the culture wars. So by the writing being on the wall I meant whoever wins, the landscape after 6 Nov will not be pretty, and the of a Dem House bringing regular order to Congress seems very unlikely to me.
I think someone said in a previous thread that Trump was now in the Mugabe position - he knows he is only protected from his crimes as long as he is President and has ultimate power. He will do anything to keep it that way.
I'm not sure I would believe whoever said a package had been sent to the WH. I'm sure we would have heard if that was the case. I do know there were loads of right wing commentators out on Twitter and SM yesterday saying it was a Dem ploy to take the focus from the caravan. Having said that we don't know if the bombs are political or it's someone who is trying to make us misinterpret the situation. The first segment of last night's Maddow was interesting on this. especially for those Joyce Vance fans among us
