Just listened to Scrotus' statement on the packages. I'll give credit where credit is due (to the people who actually wrote it, because he sure didn't) it was a rational statement of condemnation without hyperbole or pointing fingers at any one group.

We didn't listen to the speech Melania was giving (as we didn't care), when we unmuted the TV Scrotus was thanking her for whatever it was she was saying and made the remark that 'as you know she speaks many languages' as if that was relevant to what she said. Does anyone know what the hell that had to do with what she was saying?

Oh, and I'm sure that the hyperbole and finger pointing will surface at some point, probably on Twitter.

13 days to the midterms. I think the writing is on the wall regardless of the result. It's one of those moments when nothing makes sense. We've had a lot of those recently, but today seems another low.
