Friends pregnant with three possible fathers

ZebraMammy17 · 03/10/2018 11:58

My friend of 5-6 years is pregnant I'm feeling a bit conflicted as she confided in me that there's 3 possible fathers and her boyfriend thinks it's his.

For background she was in a on again off again toxic relationship for a couple of years he is possible father #1 towards the end of that relationship she started cheating on him with her brothers friend possible father #2 she told me that on the day she met her now boyfriend possible father #3 she had just got out of bed with #2 and they are friends.

When she was going back to #1 she told him he was the father before she told her current boyfriend about the pregnancy, it's so messy.

Her current boyfriend doesn't know about his friend #2 and her having an affair. She'd gone between #1 & #3 for a few weeks before finding out she's pregnant.

She's currently with #3 and has no contact with the other two, her boyfriend knows there's a chance that her ex could be the father and wants a test when the baby's born. However she's been trying to convince him that her ex couldn't be the father as the dates don't match and not to bother with the test.

He's a lovely guy and this involves a child, I really don't want to get involved but I think she's being cruel to everyone, to make it worse imo she told me she never used protection with any of them so it really could be anyone's guest.

Her boyfriend is so excited for this baby and to be a dad.
As I'm writing this I feel like it's something off Jeremy Kyle or Bridget Jones it's so complicated Confused

So what's your actual AIBU? Confused

Loopyloopy · 03/10/2018 12:01

She could always go an run a hotel on a small Greek island...

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 03/10/2018 12:01

‘Friend’?

PortiaCastis · 03/10/2018 12:02

Don't get your point

SillySallySingsSongs · 03/10/2018 12:03
Hmm
alligatorsmile · 03/10/2018 12:03

"Woman finds 3 men incapable of using condom" - not exactly headline news.

Padparadscha · 03/10/2018 12:04

Here’s what you do in a few simple steps

Give her the number for the Jezza Kyle Show

Walk away and don’t get involved

And that’s it! Easy Peasy Smile.

AuntBeastie · 03/10/2018 12:04

Is she also renovating a dilapidated farmhouse on a remote Greek island into a fancy hotel?

Riversleep · 03/10/2018 12:05

It's not your business is it? If she wants to play with fire, whatever you say isn't going to make any difference, apart from maybe she'll decide not to confide in you and it won't be your concern anymore.

PortiaCastis · 03/10/2018 12:05

Does she know you're blasting her sex life on here

WhentheRabbitsWentWild · 03/10/2018 12:07

Shock. .

Mama Mia . .

LagunaBubbles · 03/10/2018 12:08

Mamma Mia!!! Here we go again...

JasperCopeland · 03/10/2018 12:11

Can you hear the drums Fernando?

Mightymousie · 03/10/2018 12:11

I don’t think YABU.

Caroelle · 03/10/2018 12:12

It’s a criminal offence to register a baby with incorrect information, such as the wrong father.

Riversleep · 03/10/2018 12:12

My my, how can I forget you? (quite quickly, as it happens!)

Patapouf · 03/10/2018 12:13

Has she had her dating scan? That will narrow it down assuming she didn't sleep with them all on consecutive days.

Failing that she needs to get a DNA test.

AynRandTheObjectivist · 03/10/2018 12:15

Mamma Mia!

ZebraMammy17 · 03/10/2018 12:19

It really does sound like mamma Mia doubt it will end the same way, I really don't want to get involved or be part of any of it and I wouldnt/ won't if they do a DNA test but she's not wanting him to and is lying to him so he won't

She's had the dating scan but it's all been over the same period

MrsExpo · 03/10/2018 12:22

Wow, what a mess!! I get that you're concerned for her/the baby/her current bf, but really it's none of your business. Step away and keep out of it.

Sweetpea55 · 03/10/2018 12:23

She sounds a bit of a girl,,Keep out of it,,,The less she tells you the better.

LoniceraJaponica · 03/10/2018 12:24

I don't believe this

bridgetreilly · 03/10/2018 12:24

All you have to do, OP, is be her friend. There's no AIBU involved.
