To ask you to help me name my cat?

I know I'm being a bit U, as I'm blatantly posting here for traffic!

He's 11 months old, adopted today, very cheeky, and purrs at a touch.

Photos included, I know the rules!

One rule - names need to be one word only. No 'Sir Mewton of whiskerville' nonsense Wink

Posh old man names actively encourages. My favourite is Sebastian, but not sure it has a cute enough nickname....

I like Sebastian though :)

harrietthehare · 30/09/2018 16:27

I think fanny is a nice name

DrawingPlans · 30/09/2018 16:27

Oh he is quite magnificent isn't he. He definitely needs a posh name.

DrawingPlans · 30/09/2018 16:28

Wilfred

Douglas

Heuschrecke · 30/09/2018 16:28

If he's 11 months old, what was his previous name? He must have been responding to something, so perhaps we can find a name that matches the sound of his previous one?

Something a bit posh like Arthur or Magnus or Charles. He's such a lovely floof!

MirandaWest · 30/09/2018 16:31

Jeremy

HugePotatoes · 30/09/2018 16:31

@harrietthehare, love it not sure about shouting 'Fanny' to get him in at night though Grin

His previous name was 'Mush', but he doesn't repond to it.

Damn he reminds me of late and very lamented Reed Cat. Utterly gorgeous.

Terence/Terry.
Maurice/Maurie
Sidney/Sid

That sort of thing?

harrietthehare · 30/09/2018 16:34

How about Regina? That's also a good name

Suomynona · 30/09/2018 16:34

Congratulations, beautiful cat. Name him George - the same as our gorgeous black rescue boy (named after George Michael apparently as he was pmaying on the radio when the rescue centre found him - we both adored the man himself, so perfect).

BellMcEnd · 30/09/2018 16:35

Oh and Tobias then he can be Toby.

PodgeBod · 30/09/2018 16:35

I like Magnus! Or Thackery Binx like the cat in Bogus Pocus.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 30/09/2018 16:36

He looks a bit like my Leroy!

Brian is a very good name for a cat.

Cuddlykitten123 · 30/09/2018 16:36

Gotta be Thakery surely (unless your not a Hocus Pocus fan...)

AuntieGeek · 30/09/2018 16:36

He looks mysterious: Macavity. Mac for short.

MrsStrowman · 30/09/2018 16:37
