The judge has set a date for the federal insider trading trial of @RepChrisCollins et al: February 3, 2020
An attorney for Collins, who argued against setting a trial date earlier than late 2019, alleged that SDNY “rushed to bring this case before the current election.”
The lead prosecutor on the case argued that “there is a strong public interest in seeing this case resolved in 2019.”
He added that “the congressman has been on television declaring his innocence.”
The judge gave the prosecution and defense several options of late 2019 and early 2020 dates that fit in the judge’s schedule. The two sides agreed that, of the options offered, February 2020 would work best.

That interview with the Stinker in the Oval yesterday, which was mostly lies, could not have made it more clear that he could care less about Mr Kashoggi. All he cares about is getting a deal with the the Saudis that he can crow about as his win. The possibility of a recording and the horrific, graphic details coming about about what happened to Jamal Kashoggi might make it a price to great to pay, even for Stinky.
