Princess Meghan breaks into 21st century.

Just read the news. Meghan has, in a complete break with tradition, closed the car door herself instead of leaving it to whoever is her royal car door closer. Shocking modern American behaviour. What next? Will Charles squeeze his own toothpaste? Thank heavens we've got a Royal Wedding (lite) to look forward to.

They once posted an article about how Holly Willoughby started her walk from her car to work with her hair up, work n she took it down. They had a few paragraphs about it and lots of photos.

She has never been Princess Meghan and will never be. She is the Duchess of Sussex, or Princess Harry if she wanted to use that awful clunky name.

O Stella I beg you to please forgive my appalling ignorance and breach of protocol in the mis-naming of a royal attachment. I will find a forelock and tug it several times in apology. Cant do the kneeling thing tho, stiff joints.

I think Megan is a breath of fresh air! You just know she will be strong enough to cope with this huge roll.I love the Royals especially the mad ones who do their own thing like Anne and Philip,,,strong and uncompromising...think Megan will be like that..she is no follower and wimp! Shes got it sorted bless her...Go Megan!!!

I have a wry smile when I read Meghan described as a breath of fresh air as I remember a certain Sarah Ferguson being described as such back in the 80s......

I thought it was an issue with security because they tend to leave car doors open in case of any kind of security problems arise as the person is entering the building - essentially so they can be rushed back into the armoured vehicle.

Imdeed so sashh. Poor woman, I think she'll have more than enough to cope with as time goes by. The least we can do is let her keep her own name.

Every time I think I know just how outdated the idea of a royal family is, I get a surprise like this. Might as well call her Ofharry and be done with it. Shock

Yep, that's why it's Princess Michael of Kent.

Princess Diana was never Princess Diana, she was Princess Charles or Diana, Princess of Wales.

You can only be a princess if you are one from birth - I have no idea where I learned this shit, it's just taking up space in my brain.

I know which glass to use for water /red wine / white wine and how to lay the table for a 5 course meal.

Diana was HRH The Princess of Wales.
She only became Diana, Princess of Wales when she divorced as she lost the hrh. Same as the current Sarah, Duchess of York

Current princesses are prefixed eg, HRH The Princess Anne

I don't think Philip is adulterous, is he? I know Charles cheated on Diana, and yes, Philip is racist, but I've never heard of him cheating on the Queen... You'd have to have some balls to do that, surely!?

It gets worse! It's not the first time she's done it! There just aren't any pictures of it online but a 'royal reporter' said it so I suppose we must believe it. Wink

Even worse still, the Duchess of Cambridge has been seen to close a car door herself. This was from the same 'royal reporter'.

I don't understand why they call her Meghan when her real name is Rachel like I get it's a Nickname and that some people go by their middle name but I thought that in official stuff such as your wedding you would have to go by your real name..? I know this is off topic but I've just always wondered why it is

Many, many rumours about various affairs through the years. A bit of an open secret tbh. I'm sure he's not doing much now though.
