DH offered to cook sausage and mash. I think they are burnt but he says they are just right!

Inbetween overcooked and burnt.

Personal preference innit. I like them like that.

Burnt, bordering on inedible. I never understand people who must cook meat until every hint of moisture is removed.

However I was scarred for life by an old food standards agency advert that simply showed sausages cooking on a bbq, then someone picks one up which breaks in half and it’s still raw in the centre. It was the song “when will I see you again” in the background that got me!

My mother is also paranoid about sausages so I grew up eating them burnt well done so it’s what I’m used to

They are slightly on the overdone side of how I like them. As long as they aren't actually crunchy they'll be lovely.

I like them juicy and golden brown/rosy... sausage aficionados will know what I mean.

The one at the bottom of the plate for example looks more over cooked than the one on your fork. I’d say a bit overdone. I prefer to see more golden bits but still with a properly cooked skin.
