To ask if these sauasges are burnt!!

DH offered to cook sausage and mash. I think they are burnt but he says they are just right!

Overdone, but probably still just about edible!

I hate flabby pale sausages. They should be brown all over, I would happily eat those, but DH would probably think they were a bit overdone.

That’s I do them. I cremate all meat, tbf... I’m particularly terrified of under done pork.

I had the same conversation with ds once. He was bitching that his sausages were burnt. So I flipped them over on his plate and said "not on this side they're not. More like raw to me. Just eat them, eh?"

Not burnt but overcooked. I wouldn't enjoy them. I like them just a bit brown all the way round.

They look fine to me. As long as they’re not raw or carbonised I’ll eat them.

Can’t believe some posters here saying they’d refuse to eat them or throw them in the bin - they might not be to your exact taste but they’re perfectly edible and I’m sure would taste fine.

If you want your sausages cooking to a precise colour, I suggest cooking them yourself.

Perfectly done in mine and dd's world but overcooked in Dh and ds's world.
