It's getting harder and harder to find the paper applicator ones? They seem to be promoting the plastic ones. I can't abide them as I find them really uncomfortable to put in and I can never get them in properly. You also get less in a box. Also I'm convince they aren't as good. Surely the plastic ones are not as good for the environment? Is it just me that prefers the cardboard standard ones?! I bleed like mad and the plastic ones don't cut it (except for my vagina when it slices me on the way in)

Waitrose and Sainsbury round here both have traditional applicator Tampax. Haven't looked round those aisles in the other supermarkets lately to know what they've got.

Applicators are longer than my fingers, so I prefer them.

We are all different shapes and sizes, so it wouldn't be logical to expect one type of protection to suit everyone.

I can buy cardboard applicator tampax (tescos boots etc), but I can't find them in the big boxes anymore, just in 20s.dors anyone know if/where you can buy the cardboard 48s?

I'm another person with problems with non applicator and cardboard applicators, just painful. I can only use tampax pearl. Not great about the plastic, but I never flush them and accept it as something I need. I would be in pain otherwise
