To think it is normal to feel empty after finishing a TV series?

Finished all 8 series of House last night and feeling a little depressed about it.

Anyone else feel like this when you finish a long running show?

If so, what series made you feel like that?

God yes. I'm devastated every time I finish the latest Peaky Blinders or RuPaul's Drag Race or GLOW!

Pretty Little Liars, and end of series 7 of Suits

I felt bereft at the end of Parks and Recreation.

I've got a feeling that I'll feel the same way at the end of the next (and last) Big Bang Theory season

We have only watched The Bridge for the last 3-4 months. All four series (for the first time), back-to-back. Watched the last episode of the last series last week ... still processing it all; haven't watched anything since, it was all so immersive.

I felt the same about Parks and Rec!

Yep. Felt gutted when suits ended but the worse one was Outlander as I got a bit obsessed Thankfully there will be more. I was gutted when I finished Gilmore Girls and Gossip Girl too but it’s because I find a series and binge watch it, becoming overly invested in it!

I was inconsolable aged 6 on learning that Michael Praed was defecting from Robin of Sherwood to Dynasty.

I felt the same after finishing Gomorrah and The West Wing!

Definitely Parks and Rec, I knew I was going to miss all the characters and their journeys.

Breaking Bad as well.

Just finished Strike Back where Damien and Michael quit. Gutted.
Not going to bother watching the next story!!

I felt very low after finishing The Sopranos and more recently Boardwalk Empire. Getting into another series is the only way to go. I'm watching The Good Wife now, just as good as the above series in its own way.

I'm still not over the end of Charmed. Or Buffy.

I felt like that after the last episode of Breaking Bad. Nothing before that or since.

I watch Gilmore Girls again every other year It makes me so happy. (I know, I know)

Yes but only for 5 minutes or so then real life resumes.

Yes, I was sad after I finished watching The Soprano's, I'll be in tears when Game of Thrones ends.

Not empty, but I missed the characters because it felt like you got to really know them well.
