Finished all 8 series of House last night and feeling a little depressed about it.

Anyone else feel like this when you finish a long running show?

If so, what series made you feel like that?

AjasLipstick · 23/08/2018 13:17

God yes. I'm devastated every time I finish the latest Peaky Blinders or RuPaul's Drag Race or GLOW!

Tiddler7 · 23/08/2018 13:17

Pretty Little Liars, and end of series 7 of Suits Blush

Inmyownlittlecorner · 23/08/2018 13:25

I felt bereft at the end of Parks and Recreation.

MongerTruffle · 23/08/2018 13:27

The most recent OITNB season
I've got a feeling that I'll feel the same way at the end of the next (and last) Big Bang Theory season

hanahsaunt · 23/08/2018 13:28

We have only watched The Bridge for the last 3-4 months. All four series (for the first time), back-to-back. Watched the last episode of the last series last week ... still processing it all; haven't watched anything since, it was all so immersive.

Bellyscreen · 23/08/2018 13:30

I felt the same about Parks and Rec!

Just getting to the end of Battlestar Galactica and I know I’m going to really miss it Confused

nonevernotever · 23/08/2018 13:32

Yes! And books. For series, Parks and rec and West Wing,

Lemonysnicketts · 23/08/2018 13:32

Yep. Felt gutted when suits ended but the worse one was Outlander as I got a bit obsessed Grin Thankfully there will be more. I was gutted when I finished Gilmore Girls and Gossip Girl too but it’s because I find a series and binge watch it, becoming overly invested in it!

ButchyRestingFace · 23/08/2018 13:33

LOL, the thread title made me laugh. 😂

I was inconsolable aged 6 on learning that Michael Praed was defecting from Robin of Sherwood to Dynasty. SadAngryEnvySad

ta14 · 23/08/2018 13:38

I felt the same after finishing Gomorrah and The West Wing!

Tidythatmess · 23/08/2018 13:42

Definitely Parks and Rec, I knew I was going to miss all the characters and their journeys.

Breaking Bad as well.

Aprilshowersinaugust · 23/08/2018 13:43

Just finished Strike Back where Damien and Michael quit. Gutted.
Not going to bother watching the next story!!

HollyGibney · 23/08/2018 13:43

I felt very low after finishing The Sopranos and more recently Boardwalk Empire. Getting into another series is the only way to go. I'm watching The Good Wife now, just as good as the above series in its own way.

QuantumWeatherButterfly · 23/08/2018 14:32

Aprilshowersinaugust I won't give anything away but... you really should watch the next season of StrikebackWink

I'm still not over the end of Charmed. Or Buffy.

PositiveVibez · 23/08/2018 14:35

I felt like that after the last episode of Breaking Bad. Nothing before that or since.

LoisWilkerson1 · 23/08/2018 14:35

I watch Gilmore Girls again every other yearBlush It makes me so happy. (I know, I know)

PastaSauceHoarder · 23/08/2018 14:37

Ooh we've just started Parks and Recreation so I'm excited now!

I recently finished bingeing on The Middle. Felt a bit lost after that. Sad

Ignoramusgiganticus · 23/08/2018 14:38

Yes but only for 5 minutes or so then real life resumes.

Impulsesealer · 23/08/2018 14:39

Agree with parks and rec! The characters were so likeable and funny.
I felt very empty after breaking bad, absolutely loved it

Silversun83 · 23/08/2018 14:39

Breaking Bad here too.. And Firefly.

tillytoodles1 · 23/08/2018 14:42

Yes, I was sad after I finished watching The Soprano's, I'll be in tears when Game of Thrones ends.

daughterofanarchy · 23/08/2018 15:13

Sons of anarchy for me. I was far too invested in it

WelcomeToTheFable · 23/08/2018 15:16

Not empty, but I missed the characters because it felt like you got to really know them well.

Oz.

Still the best series I've ever seen, and I watched a lot.

WelcomeToTheFable · 23/08/2018 15:17

PositiveVibez I recommend Oz, much better than BB.

NoLeslie · 23/08/2018 15:26

Oh yes yes yes.
Parks and Rec. X a million

Also-
Jane the Virgin
The Good Place
Designated Survivor

I am thinking of never finishing Breaking Bad.
