....with dishes still in it she didn't even move them just poured the wee over them!

does anyone else think this is a bit Eeeewwwwwwww? i think she noticed my expression and said 'oh sorry don't you do that' to which i said 'no normally just put down the loo actually'.

Its not a friendship ruiner by any means i was just a bit surprised that people do this (but i am a clean freak admittidly). Am i off the mark here is this normal?

gross imo
just how far away was the loo that it was a better idea to pour it over dishes or not. even if you can disinfect a sink why should she be making extra work for you.
I'd avoid cups of tea in her house mind as you never know what else she might have thrown away
I know pee's meant to be sterile but come on

sparklesandwine · 31/05/2007 17:47

I don't have a down stairs loo (actually i do but its an outside loo - old house) but its only up one flight of stairs to the bathroom

bleaugh! That is horrid. I wouldn't do it at home myself and there is NO WAY I would do it at someone elses house! Eeek! that the dishes in the sink didn't even make her think twice!!!

2shoes · 31/05/2007 17:54

yuck

NoBiggy · 31/05/2007 17:55

Not unreasonable.

And you seem to have taken it rather better than I would!

3andnomore · 31/05/2007 18:01

NOt a clean freak, but defiantely not something I would like to happen in my house...shudder!
When I used to work in the Nursing Home a lot of the other careworker/Nurses would put the Pee bottles down the sinks (in the Bathrooms...but still)....and it really didn't sit right with me!

poppy34 · 31/05/2007 22:26

am and - that is just unbelievable.

will be showing it to dh to prove to him that there are worse out there than me..

Beauregard · 31/05/2007 22:27

omg

WanderingTrolley · 31/05/2007 22:32

omg you lot are unbelievable - you kick off over the slightest thing.

I mean, wee on dishes in the sink? Hello! Why do you think dishwasher rinse aid is yellow - because it's made of custard? You're complaining now but I bet those glasses are sparkling.

Really, folk, get a grip.

mm22bys · 31/05/2007 22:36

That is really gross, what planet does she come from?

When I was growing up, there was a saying at local pools - I don't swim in your toilet so please don't pee in my pool - maybe your friend need some lessons.

You are so not being unreasonable!

poppy34 · 31/05/2007 22:36

pmsl wandering trolley

Aitch · 31/05/2007 22:36

lol wandering.

in response to the OP... eeeeeewwwwwww.

Nightynight · 31/05/2007 22:46

I wonder if it occurred to your friend that what she did was a bit embarrassing later? Maybe even now she is curled up with mortification.

MegaLegs · 31/05/2007 22:51

No YANBU - I had a friend who did this regularly and it used to make me retch. It got to the stage where I would whisk the potty out from under her dd just as she finished and chuck it out the back door because I was so crap and never said anything.

sparklesandwine · 31/05/2007 22:51

i doubt it she's very laid back nightynight don't suppose she'll give it a second thought, but next time i'll make sure all potty's stay in the bathroom

puffling · 31/05/2007 22:53

It's disrespectful to you and plain rude.

choosyfloosy · 31/05/2007 22:58

i'm a complete slattern and this is eeeeeeerrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh

what on earth?

missgriss · 31/05/2007 23:00

That is nasty. I would have had to say something to her

DaphneHarvey · 31/05/2007 23:01

Yanbu, no no no not at all. I'm afraid I would have had to say something to the friend. I wouldn't have been able to stop myself. (And I'm not by any stretch of the imagination a clean freak either). TBH I have never known anyone, even the most serious slovenly slatterns, empty potties down the kitchen sink. Her behaviour is freakish. I'm getting quite worked up on your behalf!!
