About the world cup camera men

Why oh why do they always do close ups of attractive women crying when their team loses?! Does anyone else find this a bit creepy? Disclaimer- I have no idea if they are men and this is slightly lighthearted before anyone feels the need to froth.

My DH and his friends noticed this and wondered if the camera men were deliberately hunting for the attractive Swedish women. So it’s not just you!

Do you know I thought I was imagining this or my feminist head was playing confirmation bias! I’m so glad it isn’t just me that has noticed!

They do close ups on men crying too though.

Yeah... they pick out the pretty ones during the game and save them to zoom in on at the end 🙄

happens at f1 and Wimbledon too. who gives a toss about the crowd, however big their tits?

Oh its a deliberate ploy to find an attractive woman in the crowd at every opportunity - crying or not.

Yes! On the swedish game there was three very attractive crying women they kept focusing on! It's so weird. I wonder if they have a brief, find a few men dressed strangely, then a few women crying. BUT THEY MUST BE GOOD LOOKING WOMEN

I think it's mildly amusing that they always manage to find pretty fans in the crowd except for when England are playing. Not sure what they're trying to imply about English female football fans!

See previous post of a men dressed strangely. I'm not saying you never see close ups of men at football games, that would be weird, just that the close ups of women are 90 percent attractive women.

I’ve just watched the Russia penalty shoot out and the camera men repeatedly focused on a Middle Aged Russian couple who weren’t particularly good looking

The Scandinavians are aesthetically pleasing, I'm not sure they have time to go looking for the less pleasing ones to fill some bizarre viewers quota

Yes every single person from Sweden is attractive. Every one of them. That's a lot more plausible then the camera man picking out a few pretty ones to focus on...

Except when filming the England fans it’s always a fat bald guy with no shirt on

Don't know if you've noticed, but in the films almost all the women are good-looking too. Shocking it is.

The english are notoriously ugly. (Covers all mirrors).
