To think I've stumbled on an Ebay perv?

Selling a secondhand item. Near new quality.

Think I must have accidentally used one of the phrases that they use to identify items...

Received a question - does the item have any marks and was it worn with underwear?

AIBU to think this is one of those buyers who wants, ah, used items for personal satisfaction? (I read about it on here first!) Shock

I suppose my next AIBU is to wonder if there's any money in it...! Grin

I might be tempted to say yes it does and no it wasn't, let the dog drool on it for a bit, and triple the price! As long as your address is kept secret from this weirdo....

SendGinQuick · 24/06/2018 20:18

Shock I must have led a sheltered life, they use code on eBay for grubby stuff?? Blush what were you selling OP?

InTheLightOfTheMoon · 24/06/2018 20:26

My sister told me tk start selling old shoes on ebay, "well worn". Apparently they go for loads. Someone even asked her if her bf could cum in them before sending them! like wtf Shock

SendGinQuick · 24/06/2018 20:28

I remember someone telling me years ago that policemen's socks sell for good money (worn, obviously), I never believed it but maybe I should have Hmm

NormskiNamechange · 24/06/2018 20:37

Oh my word, I’ve just searched on eBay for well worn shoes and there’s a pair selling for £31!

I’ve led a sheltered life. I’ve got really sweaty feet and am fat as anything so wear my shoes out quickly. I’ve identified a new market for my old shoes! Grin

CherriesAndGingham · 24/06/2018 20:47

musicposy Oh! I should have done that... They can't exactly complain to ebay, can they? Grin

SendGin It was a leotard.

Grin how amusing, I know you're not allowed to sell used underwear on eBay (apparently, I've never tried!), I might have to spend my evening investigating...

BoobleMcB · 24/06/2018 20:53

Depends if the answer to wearing underwear increases or decreases their interest lol. Maybe they don't want a leotard with stains 🤷

covetingthepreciousthings · 24/06/2018 20:56

@NormskiNamechange I've just looked at those Shock £31 for those tatty shoes!
Did make me laugh that the listing says they're stain free.. hmm not sure they are looking at the quality of them.

chickedychicked · 24/06/2018 20:57

I once sold some worn shoes, they weren't well worn just worn and I got a message from a guy asking if I could meet up with the shoes on and use him as a footstool?!
I never replied and the shoes were never bid on unfortunetly, maybe if I wear them out a bit more and relist them I may actually get some money for them! strange world.

Omzlas · 24/06/2018 21:02

I'm led to believe that 'well worn shoes' fetch food money on eBay

I've never tried but maybe I should branch out and become an eBay entrepreneur at providing foot fetishists with a way to satisfy themselves

Thehop · 24/06/2018 21:02

I accidentally tagged my dog hugging my sweaty slippers on instagram once.

The attention 😂

monkeysox · 24/06/2018 21:07

"wrecked" shoes sell well 😂

lineyturner · 24/06/2018 21:08

I think the term is trashed. I've been so bloody tempted I tell ya

jelliebelly · 24/06/2018 21:12

Not an unreasonable question if buying a second hand leotard though?

Sassy306 · 24/06/2018 21:17

Search for used tights and select auction and prepare to have your eyes well and truly opened...there is money to be made if you've got the guts to do it haha Grin

Timefortea99 · 24/06/2018 21:21

I was just about to do a search but I will take your word for it. What a world!

SalutingMagpies · 24/06/2018 21:23

My friend had someone buy some old boots on eBay. They then messaged to say they liked how she’d worn them in and if they bought her a new pair, would she wear them in and they’d buy them back! Think she considered it but didn’t want them knowing her address.

TornFromTheInside · 24/06/2018 21:25

Surely it depends on what you're selling?
Seems a pretty legitimate question to make sure someone's worn underwear underneath the garment first?

I've absolutely no doubt there might be some people with a kinky fetish, but I don't think you can assume this purely from the question asked.

TornFromTheInside · 24/06/2018 21:27

Oops, just saw the leotard comment.
Still not sure it's a perve. 50/50 maybe?

dontticklethetoad · 24/06/2018 21:27

Anyone else curious to know what the free gift is Grin

Guiltypleasures001 · 24/06/2018 21:29

I'm click and collect?

PallygatorRockodile · 24/06/2018 21:29

I read that as a question relating to hygiene to be honest. If male they are perhaps buying it for their daughter or their partner.

Jaxhog · 24/06/2018 21:30

Sounds pervy to me. Who knew!

NormskiNamechange · 24/06/2018 21:30

@covetingthepreciousthings I nearly fell off my chair. I’ve got about five pairs which look exactly like those £31 shoes. I paid about a tenner for each of them so that’s a substantial profit. Grin

Seriously though - who is buying this stuff?
