Received a question - does the item have any marks and was it worn with underwear?

AIBU to think this is one of those buyers who wants, ah, used items for personal satisfaction? (I read about it on here first!)

I suppose my next AIBU is to wonder if there's any money in it...!

What I want to know is this: how can buyers be sure the tights/shoes/whatever come from some nubile young lass and not an old gimmer like me ... or doesn't it matter?

Also we were told "adult baby clothes". I nearly persuaded my Mum to start knitting large baby booties!

I have a friend who makes and sells costumes (mostly historical). She gets a huge number of requests for adult sized baby clothes and nappies. She makes them (but doesn't list them on eBay) and charges a bloody fortune for them.

The DNA comments ended me!

I sold a pair of used designer pumps once and never received feedback, it was in the days when everyone left it. Crossed my mind they may have gone to a foot fetishist, apart from the waste of a good pair of shoes I didn't mind.

Over the years I have had a few enquiries that I have chosen not to reply to, they are always very polite. It happens when you sell sandals and posh underwear, well it does to me anyway, the underwear was new with tags too. Try to list a pair of well worn shoes and no interest whatsoever, just my luck.

Curiosity got the better of me and I looked at “used tights” on EBay... well one lady has made £25 so far on two pairs of tights! Basically because she has pictured herself with no underwear on in said tights, bent over with her arse in the air. Not mention the close ups of her crotch. Soft porn in used tights!

My dsis sold pink stilletoes and was asked had she worn them in the toilet. She explained she had only worn them once for a short time and not been to the toilet and they were like new. She was then asked could she wear them in the toilet....he would pay more. Each to his own.

I have, in the past sold my DH's old footwear on ebay. I take a photo of him wearing them and offer the "free gift" of the socks, as seen in the picture. I always offer to launder the socks to ebay standards. Never once have I washed the socks.

Gosh I wish hadn't chucked my tights from winter now.

I have a friend who sells old socks. She started on ebay but now just has one customer. She wears the socks to his specification before posting them off.

@itsBritneyBeach from viewing the listings, you might have more luck with coloured tights than the usual black or brown!
